I am new to the site, so i was just wondering if you had any guys who you thought were going to be let go, via cut or trade. my bears could use some help after our dismal performance in the playoffs.

Uh, you can exuse him, he's had a date with Mr.

...
But the only "lock" cut I see is Frost (our punter) and believe me, you don't want him.
But besides him, some "maybe" cuts will be Antonio Brown (KR) Holdman (OLB) maybe someone off the D-Line, and maybe maybe maybe Ramsey.
Ramsey could be to some use for you guys, but I don't think you'll trade for him since you already have a young QB in Grossman.
And by the way, welcom to the site

Welcome to our board. You are asking a tough question because we WILL release and cut players due to our over the cap situation. Do you need a safety?

we could use another saftey. we will probably unload mike green due to the high proce. we need a thrid , nickle saftey. i think we are good at qb but could use a vetran #3 to push orton.

what about stoutmire or bowen.

Bowen had such a quiet year that I'm afriad he might get released. Williams seemed to like the other safeties that were brought in this past offseason quite a bit, and I'm relatively sure that Bowen isn't making vet. minimum, since he was a relatively big signing back when we acquired him--so, he may be hitting the market.

bowen sounds interesting. we could use a vetran saftey who has been in some battles. i know lovie thinks highly of hanes, but with the year alex brown had, i can't call it. jacobs came out of college with a lot of hype, didn't he?

Jacobs was the ball coaches boy at FL. So we got stuck with him. He was our first player taken in the draft. I personaly wanted mike doss with that pick.

hey don't beat yourself up- grossman looks like he'll be a star for you guys if he can ever stay healthy. your only problem was your defensive coaches outsmarted themselves- they thought they were smart enough to scheme a way to single cover steve smith.
i for one am glad we don't play you guys next year.
as far as people we may release that you could use, i think the others have got it covered by mentioning bowen.

bowen is as good as gone he might have a reawakening in chicago....you all want randle el almost as bad as we do.
I think the danny wants him more

i think everyone is going to be involved in the randle el sweepstakes before this is all said and done. we would like to think we have the advantage because he is a chicago guy, but we all know money talks.

Bowen, Cartwright, are probably not coming back.

Ramsey will be traded, even though I would love to keep him, cause you know Mark will be done in a year. And then where are we at with just one QB?
