Looking for a few good (DE) men!

With a 53 pick, several DEs within the list below might become available. Who can drop to 53? and Who should we pick?

Senior Bowl and other top NCAA Defensive Ends:

Victor Adeyanju, DE, 6-4, 265, Indiana

Mark Anderson, DE, 6-4, 256, Alabama

Ive been wondering if one DE will do the job? Will one DE be able to provide us with what we need...? Im not too sure about it. Will the DE we get demand a double team to draw heat off of everyone else? Will anyone on our line other than Griffin demand a double to free up the new DE?

Im starting to think our needs at DL are deeper than one player.

Start spreading the rumor that Hali is a problem player and NO ONE should waste a pick on him

We don't have to spread that rumor. Everyone knows what a cancer he is in the locker room. After all, Tamba and Terrell both start with T.

Exactly, we all know Paterno specializes in locker room cancers

There is a great deal of talent at the DE position coming out of school. Daryl Tapp is the man.

I've been reading (somewhere - can't remember) that the 'Skins were paying A LOT of attention to Gabe Watson, the massive DT (6'4" 331 lbs) from Michigan this past week. Maybe we'll switch to more of a 3-4 or something, our DEs seem better suited to that anyway and we have some awesome OLBs. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Id like to pick up both a DT and DE. Like I said earlier, I think we need both positions for our pass rush to be what we need it to be... Just a thought.

DEs are a hotter commodity than DT. We might pick a DE first and a DT in later rounds.

de is a must for us i think.
draft one and get another from free agency.

Good but not great (at least yet).

Weaknesses:
Undersized and lacks bulk...Needs to hit the weight room and get stronger...May have to change positions at the next level...Does not hold up at the point of attack...A liability against the run...Struggles to shed blockers...Is basically a one trick pony who relies solely on his speed...Needs to work on technique and make better use of his hands...May only be a situational player.

Notes:
Could be a 3-4 outside linebacker...Entered college at only 210 lbs so he has done a good job of adding weight and has the frame to get bigger still...A classic 'tweener who a team will need to find the right role for...At the very least he should excel as a situational pass rusher...Still has a lot of upside.

From watching the Senior Bowl

Tamba Hali is an absolute pipe dream
Manny Lawson is good (needs to bulk up) an could be available to us
Kamerion Wimberly would be nice but he is definitely not ahead of Lawson.
Daryl Tapp is a solid player, but he didnt look all too good throughout the year, just some highlights (which we could use)
