Cap Situation

Just a though...So much media and talk has been devoted to our cap situation this offseason. However, I caught this in a recent article about the Broncos:

Change, however, is inevitable in the NFL, and there's no guarantee the Broncos will continue their quest with Nalen, left tackle Matt Lepsis, defensive linemen Gerard Warren and Courtney Brown or a few other key cogs from this year's team. All those veterans are free agents, have expensive options or will void their contracts. The Broncos need to pare about $30 million off next season's salary cap.

Looks like our cap issues really aren't that big or unique after all?

Champ Bailey is probably sucking up alot of that money. I would be interested to see how much.....

...he is really worth all that money when he is getting beat by 3rd string receivers for TD's in Championship games

Hey, he looked pretty good for almost all of that interception return against the Patriots. . .

SS is the man, but he was a little injury prone over the last several weeks! Rest that groin Shawn!

Injury prone. He pretty much started every week and we would have rested him more if we would have had better depth at the CB position. We needed him too much. I'm sure that if we could have, we would have sat him.
