Saw this on Comcast Monday Night Live, Springs and Robinson were talking and Springs said they needed another wr, and Koren said" like me". It is rumored he wants to be a redskin, how do you guys feel about this?

I would love Robinson. He can kick return and has 4.3 speed. He is supposedly a born again christain and isn;t too expensive.

What about Antwoin Randle El? He's a free agent and can kick return very well.

I say just draft Sinorice Moss and get a bigger receiver in free agency...that would be great. Can you imagine lining up: Santana Moss, Eric Moulds, and Sinorice Moss?
Who would you cover?

Arent the Steelers gonna resign him or something. Heck how about both Randel El and Robinson.

I'd rather have Randle El but Robinson wouldn't be a bad second or third option...
as long as I don't have to buy him a 7-pack of Chasers every week.

Sinorice is going to be a first rounder most likely so I don't see how we could get him.

hiccup.
I'd pass, not because I think he's a bad football player (he does after all have Rod Gardner type hands), but because he has too much baggage.
Obviously the Gibbs regime can handle that sort of issue interiorly, question would be has Koren really come to grips with it?

I like Koren because he's exactly the type of WR we need. We need someone who can haul down Brunells high passes. We need someone he can throw the fade to in the endzone or a jump ball. We need someone who can go across the middle.
We dont need Koren to fall back into his bad habits. I hope he was able to be his bout with acoholism. We dont need another Rod Gardener. I haven't watched him play this past season so Im not sure.
I like the prospect of getting Randle EL. I'd love to snatch up Moss's little brother in the draft. Do we need him? No. Its just one of those wishes.

No Robinson, he wouldn't be looking for his 3rd team in 6 seaons if he was that great, sombody would have tried to keep him.

Well you never know. Im not 100% sold on him but look at the resurrected career Burress has had in NY! Different players may or may not excel in certain schemes. He's not being booted from Minny, he's a F/A who they may want to retain. He had a decent season with them.

I would agree in most cases but after watching this guy this year...like Chis Cater before him getting cut is just what he needed to motivate him. He got a ton of talent. I love that he returns kick...so we can get rid of Antonio Brown for good.

Chris..if he doesn't recover that punt (he never should have fielded) in Tampa we lose that game!!

Hey, Im not disagreeing with you. When I met you at M&T, I disagreed. When AB came back I disagreed a little less. I now agree with you 100% The kid doesn't have the brain to play the position. He doesn't know when to field and when not to. Its like he can't judge the spin on the ball, the velocity, angle or something....

Has anyone told AB about the fair catch option?

I think Robinson needs someone like gibbs to help keep him on the right path. I think gibbs will look at this from 2 perspectives. 1 I got a chance to get a real good WR. and 2. I can also fulfill my obligation to myself to help lead humans in the right direction and away from temptations and problems.

As best as I can tell, he thinks that you're supposed to use that when no defenders are near you.

He's not going to leave the Steelers, think of it, record wise the Steelers are a better team, so why would you leave a better team for a wrose team. Lets get real your a reciever who would you rather have throwing you the ball Ben or Jason. He's not going to leave the STeelers.

Uh...
Well...
NO.
First off, Rod Gardner has better hands than him.
Second, he's afraid of contact
and Thrid, He'll probably be drunk when he signs the contract.

Whatever. Every year, how many players win a super bowl one year then immediately go sign with some team who DIDN'T win the super bowl? Its money.
When it comes to free agency and guys looking to cash in, we've got the best owner in the league and every player knows it.
