I like Max Gean-Giles from Georgia, that guy is a monster!

However I don't think he will slip to late second round, but if he is there, boy would I love to get him.

IMHO - depending upon what we do in Free Agency... we draft a Guard in the 2nd. Follwoed by a WR in the 3rd. Or flip it and draft the WR 2nd and Guard 3rd depending upon who is available. After that we need to start shoring up other areas that need depth.

We need OL and WR depth my friends and I'm not sold on Dockery.

I was not sold on Dockery, but I think he is making great strides under the tuteledge of Buges. I'd hate to gove up on him now that he is showing signs of progress.

I don't think we should give up on Dock, but we need starting caliber depth to compete with him and make him earn his spot in Camp. He will either take his game up a notch or he will be an outstanding backup.

I heard a rumor that we were going to go after Steve Hutchinson. I haven't found a link though. Anyone know his status?

I don't necssarily want to give up on Doc, I'm only saying if Giles is there when we pick, I think we would be nuts to pick him up because he is young, strong, and a soon to be star.

However, if there is no "blue chip" Guard when we pick I would like the wait for the later rounds (like the Carolina pick) to get a Young OL, and kind of hope for a Joe Jacoby type situation. Plus, BH said Molinario is rising, so I'd like to see what happens with him first.

So far, Molinaro (my twin) has only practiced at Tackle. I'm hoping they give him some work at Guard through the offseason and camps, in light of what happened this season when Thomas went down and Ray Brown retiring.

Also, don't get me wrong. I'm all for drafting a guy that can provide depth beyond what we have as well. The bread and butter of our team is running, and that means we need a dominating O-line.

I'm still not sold on Dockery. He has improved... slightly. I hate seeing Portis run a pull play to Docks side because he always beats him to the line of scrimmage and gets caught behind him.

Dockery is too slow and out of shape in my opinion. He should improve his strength, too. I remember against San Diego when Dock was leading on a pull play and he was going to block Shawne Merriman but Merriman just leveled him and knocked him backwards and off his feet. If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Dockery outweigh Merriman by a good 70 pounds or so?

I wish we had a Randy Thomas clone at left guard.

I like Taitusi Lutui from USC. He is absolutely huge, maybe the biggest guy in the draft at 6'6" 370lbs. All year he's broken open huge holes for White and Bush. However, he is definately more of a zone blocker and not a guy who really can get outside and pull like Thomas can so I don't know how much he fits what we are trying to do even though the scheme has changed somewhat. Even if we are running fewer running plays that require the guards to get out and run, guys like that are crucial to the screen passes we love to run. I'll leave all this analysis up to Gibbs and Buges though, they know a lot more than I do.

Well, whatever they do with the line, it needs to be good infact it needs to be great! I think Cambell will start next year and he will need all the protection he can get, being that he will be a first time starter.
