WOW ! What a game it turned out to be !
I've had it up to here with crying Manning brothers, though. :)
Jerome Bettis, hero-to-goat-to SAVED BY A NORWOOD !

I almost had a heart attack when he fumbled. They had it won, then the fumble, but luckily Ben made the game saving tackle and Vanderjact choked.

And, believe it or not...the Panthers are owning the Bears. Steve Smith scores 45 seconds into the game.

I could hardly believe the ending of that game. Running the Bus was the right thing to do.

The two loudest yells I've made this weekend were when Champ got jacked up at the end of his return and when Bettis fumbled.

(I get too nervous watching the Redskins to make many sounds at all)

Gutsy call by Manning to shoo the punt team off the field or what?

Dungy said it wasn't Manning's call..he said they were going for it but the punt team got over anxious.

I also used to like Peyton Manning - but after hearing his inteview he's all about himself and blaming others for the loss. Worse though..he had to say "being a good teammate - I'm not going to point fingers but...we did have protection problems" I think he said that twice. What a jerk...he isn't taking any of the credit for the loss...definitely NOT a team player.

Manning is a jerk. Protection problems, maybe? But he had quite a few suspect throws. His last two come to mind, considering he had 2nd and two and threw deep twice.

I like knowing that the team some considered maybe the greatest ever just a few weeks back, ended their season on the same weekend of the playoffs as us.

And is Russ Grimm still offensive coordinator in Pittsburgh?

This isn't the first time he's run his mouth. Remember the Pro Bowl comment about the "idiot kicker who got liquored up"?

Yep...remember that.

Manning is and always was over-rated IMO.
I think the press has ignored the "reports" out of Tennessee and there have been more than a few times he has "blown" an opportunity. Not the sort of character or leader you really want!
Having 2 downs to get it a little closer and throwing deep on both is really a shame. I know that kicker is going to make a 46 yarder almost always but in the playoffs! I think Manning could have moved that to a little better percentage kicking distance if he was "all world" as he is meant to be.
Brady and NE are not looking at that long a kick, given the same circumstances.

The idiot kicker is indeed an idiot.Kinda famous for rubbing his first and second fingers on his thumb while facing the other sidline in the universal sign for "money" before a kick.
Idiot then got them a wWestbrook fifteen for taking off his helmet.
