Showing the team support!

At Redskin's park last week, I saw a lot of fans who were obviously just jumping on the bandwagon, what I want to know is who is welcoming them back tonight or tomorrow or whenever they come back? As soon as I find out info I'm going. Scott and I decided our team needs to know they put their hearts out there and played with everything they have and we appreciate that.

I would go if I could.
I'm am very proud of our team and fans.
I really think we have the best fans in the NFL.
Greenbay might be close, but no contest.

I heard they're coming in at around 2:15 AM tonight, and I'm itching to go. PLease, if someone can confirm an arrival time, and directions on how to get there, please post ASAP. I won't be online too long tonight.

Directions I can do but I have no idea how to confirm the return time. Let me call the post game show and ask if they know.

I heard him say that but I think he's crazy. THey do lose time coming back but that seems a bit too much.

would it be better to meet the team off the plane or meet them at redskins park? I would think it would be the facility.. never had a team i wanted to congratulate so much before

THey do not enter the airport. The buses load directly on the tarmac. So REdskin's Park is the only option. I don't expect to see as many people as last week but I have to show this team how much I love them.

Ok now WJFK is saying 2:30 am. I'm not sure about that though because that was their arrival time last week and it wasn't a 5 hour flight. COming this way they lose a few hours???? Anyone know?

niki, i'm sure the time is est. if they arrive at the airport at 2:30, then they should be at the park around 3....

Ok it's looks like it is officially 2:30 am. I'm conflicted. My child wants to go. I'm going to make him go to bed now and sleep on the way so he can swing it. It's history in the making so I want him there.

I have been a long time lurker but all this talk about congratulations and support is really beginning to piss me off. The reality is we lost and it wasn't even that close. We have been suffering with this team and our embarrassing excuse for an owner for 6 years now. Jack Kent Cooke would be ashamed. WE DESERVE BETTER than this crap! Stay home and get some sleep tonight. History won't be until after the skins make or win the superbowl... there are no moral victories.

You got to walk before you can run. One of the major problems is that Snyder and Co. did not understand that when he first took over. Looking at the team from the disaster that it was a few years back, and now I very pleased and would be going to thank them if I lived in the area.

Wow what an assinine post! There are 32 teams in the National Football League. Your team cannot win the big game every year so you're going to whine and talk trash? I'm not sure I'd want you to be a fan. I'm glad my post pissed you off maybe it will wake you up a bit. These forums are for real fans, and your post indicates that you may not actually be a real fan. You support your team when they put their heart and soul in a game and it's obvious to me that this team gave it's all. Randy Thomas was hurt, Corey Raymer stepped in and played a position that he has not undertaken in a very long time. That is giving it everything you've got.
I will go every time to support my team regardless of what people like you think. So please do us all a favor, either get some prespective or pick a new team.
In a side note we missed last night. Jackson was not feeling well and we just could not take him out in that wind. For those of you that could make it, I hope you were loud enough that everyone knew how supported they are.
I won't be there, but...

I AM awfully proud of this team. We had a few big flaws and still managed to have a great season. I enjoyed this season at least as much if not more so than I did Gibbs first term at the helm, probably because so little was expected from this team. With some changes on offense next year I think we'll be right back in the thick of it. Gonna be a fun offseason this year.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!

Great idea Niki. It's a long way down I95 from New York, so consider me "virtually" there, in addition to the other fans who live a good distance from The District.
This team deserves a welcome.
Awesome Fans

I don't know who these fans are but they Rock!
"About 100 fans were at Redskins Park when the team arrived at the facility early on Sunday morning. They cheered wildly--in cold, windy conditions--as buses drove by.
Among the many signs: "Thanks for a Great Season, Redskins!"

Sadly I'm still stuck in NY at the moment. Otherwise, since Redskins Park is only 10 minutes from my house, I'd be there.
