Does anyone think that Gibbs has been reserving part of the offensive playbook for such an occasion like this?

I think that Gibbs has a new part of his playbook every week. The more important the game, the more startling the plays.
Consider SB 26, when the Skins went into the Buffalo-like no-huddle.
Consider the playoffs in 1983, leading to SB 17. Who would have thought that the Redskins could win without Art Monk, the passing part of their offsense? Who would have thought that Gibbs would decide to have John Riggins slam up the middle on every play.

It would be awesome to see the Skins run the two minute drill in their opening possesion. No huddle, all the way to the "paint area!"

Most certainly. It's not out of the question to see a little trickery this Saturday..whatever it takes..

No, not holding back...it's a work in progress, based on the team we're playing, as Welch alluded.
Joe does everything he can to give his players the best chance to win every week.

I would like to see that, throw them off guard but I think Brunell stinks in the two minute drill though. Gibbs has allways liked to throw in a little tickery. What about that Portis pass, it didn't work against the bucs.

No way hes been preserving conservative sometimes yes. Given the talent of the Tampa defense it was wise to take as few risks possible. This game against Seatlle we should have more success against theyre secondary. Im hoping that Portis has a field day rushing 150yards should serve us well.

A no-huddle, silent count offense works good in noisy stadiums. I'm not saying the whole game, but an early score is a great way to silence a crowd. I remember Gibbs using that in the past and wouldn't be surprised to see it on Saturday.
Hmmmm,

maybe I should give him a call........

of course there is more in the playbook. Gibbs always has more, I'm glad that we didn't do much last week offensively. It gave Seattle just a little to look at. Now let's bring the bomb.
