Hey I was watching Espn classics last night. Wow what a classic the hogs where humungous. They looked like men playing with boys against those niners. The game was contreversial though. The Redskins seemed to just smashmouth all day occasionally passing for a deep one. And the defense of the Skins was also an awsome sight Dave Butz could have played in any era as well as many of those skins players it was nice to finally see some old classics of the redskins. We almost always see another teams classics on Espn rarely the Skins. Montana put up a valient effort and brought it back from a 21to 0 deficit to tie it in the fourth quarter. With about 6-7mins left washington put together a drive that took up all but 30-50seconds left on the clock and capped it off with a game winning field goal. The kicker mark mosley finally made one field goal after missing four previous kicks. Joe bugel and Joe Gibbs looked so young now Im sorry to say but I still love them they look way older but it was nice to see such youth and exuberance captured on film. I was too young to see the games back then so seeing it all on film was pretty cool. Hail to the Redskins baby bring home the bacon. redskinsmiley

Yeah I wanted the NFL films of our 1982 and 1988 Superbowls. Gibbs and Bugel look so young, plus it was nice to see the Fun Bunch, Riggo, the Hogs, Art Monk, Joey T and Doug Williams lighting it up.

I just couldnt get over how much bigger and stronger the hogs were than the niners line. Butz was absolutely destroying that randy young dude I think. I think you can buy the old films just have to search the net. The original diesel was a beast as well.

That was a classic. I need to tape that next time It's on. We should have a little heads up TV listing for old school skins programs that get shown on espn, classic, nfl network......when watching that show, i just couldn't believe Mosley missing all them field goals and the shots of him on the sideline. He just couldn't figure out what was wrong.

It was another one of those games we almost blew. It did seem that even though Montana was leading them to a 4th quarter rally I remember never thinking we were in trouble of loosing that game.
