Why?
The Skins have allot to be angry about and allot to prove... The 3 main reasons:
1. The 36-0 ass whipping they took - time for revenge.
2. Pro Bowl Snubs - Marcus Washington and Sean Taylor and even Sean Springs should be on the first team. They have got to be ANGRY. Taylor is gonna make some Giants really pay Saturday.
3. Playoffs - The Skins are out to prove that they are not just a mediocre team and that they really should have won the division this year (though they still can if everything falls into place). The team wants everyone to know the bitch slapping they gave Dallas last week is what is in store for teams down the road.

And Greg Williams is a total ball buster. You know he's in every Defensive player's grill about the last meeting with the Gints. He'll have the D in a frenzy by tomorrow afternoon.

And I can't wait! The Redskins gave me an early birthday present last Sunday, now they can give me an early Christmas present.

The last three games, the next two, and hopefully the playoffs are what Redskins fans aspire to over the WHOLE past year (draft, offseason, preseason and early season) and really year after year since Joe left.

It is here! We have a lot to be grateful for. This is going to be a tough game as they have ever come in the history of this division.

I agree with the above but it really is a lot more simple than all the hype.

The team just needs to play together and with the same desire and intensity that they had last week. This is not about stats or popularity contests (like the Pro bowl) this is about playing football. The media likes to hype all that stuff - this team just flat wants to win more than the Giants.

We just need to win this game, this week.

I think Chris ey is gonna have an awesome game, mad about the Pro Bowl and how little he did against the giants last time

This is the type of situation that Gibbs came back for! This game can be a sort of "cleansing" for this coaching staff and these players. There have been a lot of doubters both here and in the media.
This is what these 2 guys (Gibbs & Williams) are all about! The Redskins are on the threshold here and these guys these players and coaches are looking to get over that step and onto the next. This is a great opportunity.

We may have made great progress by sweeping the pukes this year but this is a huge step up!
We know it, the players and coaches know it, and there is nothing the giants can do but try and stop the feeling that we are the best team in the NFC East right now!

The 12th man needs to be in full effect Saturday. We need to make them one dimensional by taking tiki out of the game, and make Eli beat us with his arm. We need to keep the pressure on him and force him into bad throws, and force a couple of turnovers.
On offense, it's all about clinton portis. He's been the root of our ressurgence into the playoff race these last few weeks. I expect 150 yds and 2 td's. He's been our bread and butter and we need to ride him all the way to the playoffs.

On a sidenote, wouldn't it have been nice if we didn't lose that game in Tampa, or blow that game against oakland? Might not be in a must win situation. But we can't dwell on the past, all that matters is beating the giants!

It would have been nice but I like the way things are. No use crying over spilt milk. This streak that will continue on thru this game is building character, faith and trust inside of this team.
