Chris Cooley had an amazing day today but the blocks that he made helped us win more than he was given credit for.

Give me your take on him.

I think he's kinda wiered. He's my fav. player on offense but every interview he's kinda odd.

Cooley has definately been a guy that has looked better and better each successive game he's played. He's a real hard-nosed blue collar player that come around every so often. A guy that just fits into our system so well. Clutch catch after clutch catch, TD after TD, and a giant saftey valve for Brunel and the Offense. Classy guy through and through. Chris Cooley, and the entire Redskins organization, I salute you! Hail! HTTR

He is a great guy, only got to meet him for about 5 mins at the Skins Draft Day. He may come off as an off-beat character at first, but he is really down to earth and loves to joke around.

I almost popped a vein yelling at the TV for Cooley to run out of bounds. Next thing you know he is barelling down the field and I can barely contain myself as the yard markers keep flashing bye.

One hell of a game and one hell of a player.

Wonder if Parcells still thinks Cooley doesn't have what it takes to make it in the NFL?

I love Cooley. I started him in my FF league tonight and I won in the 1st round of the playoffs.

The man is a talented beast. No questions asked.

His interview after the game was awesome.

He is just a regular guy playing football.

I yelled, get out of bounds, too. My wife was giving me a hard time after he scored. "And you wanted him to go oob."
He is my favorite current Redskin.

So was I ! He's almost never fast enough to beat three or four guys...today he was. Inspired and inspiring play from the big guy.

I was yelling to get Oob too. What was funny was Newman diving low instead of trying to actually tackle. This is what I mean when I say Dallas defensive players can't tackle unless they can horsecollar you.

did anyone else see the footage of him after his last TD? he hugged some lady in the stands that looked old enough to be his mother, then got a kiss from a young blonde that i swear was christie.

off-beat character

This is interesting. How many of you other old timers saw John Riggins in Cooley's long TD catch and run? I swear, Cooley's number changed to 44 the second he tucked the ball.

It left me wondering... could he play tailback?

I started Cooley also and he saved my butt. He got more points than Shaun Alexander who was on the team I was playing, and won me the game. With the win I'm in our championship.
At our draft this year I took Cooley with my 6th pick and a lot of guys in the league said I took him to high. I said just watch. I have been proven right.:)

Absolutely. Cooley had his best game ever yesterday. I couldnt beleive how well the skins played it was beautiful. For once they played up to there potential and beyond. They now know how good they can be. THis might be the start of something special.
