Well here we are, the home stretch. The final three games of the season, the three games that mean much more than just leaving with a 10-6 record or a 7-9 record, but new life. Is anyone else freaking out yet, because the Cowpukes fans at school are ALREADY talkin'(even though I can't understand much of it)...you'll have that though. Three in a row or we don't go... any thoughts?

I was freaking out 2 weeks ago after the loss to the Chargers but now I'm cautiously optimistic especially since the Redskins already improved on their mark from last year and I wasn't expecting that much going into the season.

I think three in a row's easier than we think. Both Dallas and New York is at our place which is normally pretty DAMN loud so hopefully that can do enough to err young Eli (who sucks on the road btw) and Statue Drew. We could probably afford to rest a few of our knicked up starters when we play the Eagles cause our defense will molest their entire offensive crew.
ALSO... I think here's still a pretty decent chance we could get a wild card at 9-7

This game is huge, we need to try and blow'em out in the first half and not even keep it close whatever that takes.
Nfl films had a clip of Farrior for Pitt telling some other teams player "don't come across that 50" and when the player did he went charging at him, I wanna know who's gonna make sure no blue comes across that 50 on fedex field Suday. We need to bully these guys and that's gonna be hard because they are all big strong dudes. Brunell need's to wake up fast.

I'm expecting some trick plays by Dallas. They always have these trick plays that always get to us. Flee-flickers, RB Passes, fake field goals. It's all happened in the past.
Our defense have to be dominant in this game, and for the rest of the season.
On Offense, one word: PORTIS

Dallas will definately bring oput some trick plays. On ESPN Parcells was saying how flee flickers work great against overly aggressive teams like the skins. With no pass rush, we have to get the secondary involved, which leaves more open backfield and 1 on 1 match-ups. I truly hope mwe don't fall for one like we always do.

This sucks - other than HAVING to win the final 3 games, we have to count on other teams to loose.
I guess this is a little better than the last few years when they were pretty much out of it by November 15.

I think that we will be fine against Dallas. Gibbs needs to run Portis on the edges like he did the last two games for us to be effective. Dallas is without Dat Nguyen so their lack speed and experience at LB should get Portis a few more yards.
If the O-Line can create holes where Portis is holding onto their shirts going through the hole, we should be fine.
Here is a novel thought: Put Antonio Brown opposite of Moss and give Dallas the "speed look" then dump off to Portis and

ey to eventually set up the deep ball. Just a thought....

Regardless if we finish 10-6 it's a double digit win record and is the same record the Falcons (a team considered pretty good) finished last year and made it to the NFC Playoff...so...

It's also the record that a Miami Dolphin team had a couple of years ago in a crowded AFC playoff race. They missed the wildcard.
If we go 10-6 and do not win the division, it is possible (though maybe not probable) that we miss the playoffs entirely. Gibbs missed the playoffs one year with a 10-6 record, remember.

I remember that year, if I'm not mistaking, Dallas played the late game that sunday and the Skins needed them to win in order to get the last playoff berth (I don't remember against whom). Even then I could not cheer for the cowpukes.

It just seems so long since we were still playing for something in December. I'm enjoying it. How many years has our season essentially been over before the end of November??
