As per the wager set forth between RiC and RS:

Redeemed was not smart enough to see the trap laid down by Redskin in Canada and his HUMONGOUS MOUTH got the best of him yet again in the Hognostications thread.

In my opinion, you're only digging a ditch, Red. . .

Maybe you like the attention, but it'd probably better if the picks did the talking (which they are, but not in ways that you'd like). ;)

It sounds to me that he also challenged YOU. A double dare.

Why not be generous enough to give him a hand and YET another opportunity to prove his TRUE value and worth as a Hognosticator (and man of true integrity  )?

Will you or Will you not?

Talk about the master of the twisted evil scenario!!

Congratulations to RiC, I think you have also won the "Large Paddle" Award. This is very useful for stirring things up, as you no doubt are aware!

Redeemed,

Just as a matter of sheer curiosity. Are you now doubling our bet to win? Namely, instead of 200 posts you want to make it for 400 posts. Or, you are just issuing a challenge to ALL -other- Hognosticators?

'Twas a joke, RiC. There's no way I can make up the difference over the next three weeks. But if it makes you feel any better, I can wear the sig for 201 posts. Your decision.

I will say this however, the perfecto will be mine.

Well, I can take a joke. No problem, I will not abuse the FALLEN. 200 posts it is, which already onto itself becomes an early admission of DEFEAT with three long and crucial NFL weeks to go.

But... How can you ask the Redskins instead to make it to the playoffs under similar adverse conditions?

So, you are now still in the Redskins bandwagon but not in the TRO bandwagon? I thought you would fight to the end. I thought you would never surrender. I thought you would never ask your team to do something you would not try to do yourself.

What? You QUIT? You GIVE UP? You ADMIT EARLY DEFEAT when mathematically you "could" be in a heroic struggle of biblical proportions? :hmm:

Well, like the Skins, I will NOT look pass you. I will compete week after week as if the clock has not run out on you. I will not kneel to consume the last minute and a half of the 4th quarter of the game when you have no times out left.

So, all we have left is a whisper, a cry of desperation, a help 911 call in the dark:

REDEEMEDSKIN wrote:I will say this however, the perfecto will be mine.
OK. Do you want to make another bet for THIS week 15? I say you do NOT get a perfect score this week either. Name the bet "Courageous One". You want to bet a STICKY AGAIN?

How about:

"Redeemed enters into the doors of Glory with a perfect score of 16 - 0 in the Hognostications this week"

against the same STICKY displayed at the top of the thread with a small addition:

(FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW)

My chances at #1 are not good enought to wager the additional 200 posts you suggest. However, based on your Hognostications submitted so far (ROTFALMAO), I have no doubt in my mind that "The Redeemed One" will win this week.

And, despite your quick assumption, the bandwagon, aka the "TRO Speedwagon", rolls on. The TRO Speedwagon has been kicked into 5th gear, and will leave you in the dust. You'll have a good look at my bumper sticker which reads: "Perfecto or bust", come Sunday afternoon. Ah ga-rown-tee!!!!

It's up to you if you wanna "Stickie-ize" my accomplishments (or lack thereof) every week until the end, but, don't bother asking again. After all, you can be sure that the TRO Speedwagon will still be runnin' toward its ultimate goal.

I ONLY take bets that are actually ACCEPTED. It does not appear to me that this is a post of acceptance. So, I have to assume that your promises are just that.

I do not want to destroy the little self-confidence that you have left.

It would have been the same STICKY simply staying for another week. I am aware that permission is involved again. The bet was not accepted anyway.

Sorry I misunderstood. That would have been fine.

That's the TRO seal of approval on the bet. I thought you were informed of this? :hmm:

Onward with whatever method you wish to record my perfecto this week.

I did a posteriori.

So, now I ask officially permission from the admin and mods to do as follows:

If Redeemed does not get a perfect score the -current- sticky would last an extra week with a simple line added to it:

Redeemed was not smart enough to see the trap laid down by Redskin in Canada and his HUMONGOUS MOUTH got the best of him yet again in the Hognostications thread.

(FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW)

or in the unimaginable case that he gets it:

TRO entered triumphant into the gates of glory with a PERFECT Hognostication.

You forget, tc, the REAL catfight that nearly derailed the Hognostications thread at its inception. The weekly banter/wagering between RiC and I pales in comparison.

Whoulda thunk that the thead would end up with a THN shirt at the end, considering its rocky start. It's a testament to RiC's dedication and steadfast resolve to "stay the course". My 2 cents

If I haven't said it before, RiC, thanks for your contributions to the Hognostications. (cue slow, menacing, defiant =D> , รก la any rival in any '80s movie)

And there is always an OPEN invitation to join-in.

But there is one catch: Those who want to join-in the cat-fight have to participate in the Hognostications. No sense in Punu putting down Redeemed, for example, if he did not put forward his own Hognostications (or neck on the line).

I just wonder what will EVER happen to poor me if I EVER get a lower score than Redeemed (and a few other posters) any given week? Naaaaaaaah. Stop dreaming. It ain't EVER gonna happen. ROTFALMAO

I had forgotten about THAT one! Nobody had tried to put me down before because I am a guy with CLASS. I -might- be wrong but I think that poster left because his English grammar was finally found out to be faulty in front of the entire board.

Enough with the past. On with the future. Where are your Hognostications TC?

Oh, you'll get an opportunity to find out what would happen when "The Redeemed One" takes you to Hognostications school this week!!!!! And, I guarantee you, it will be no "accident". :thump:
