The culture of losing in the NFL

To me, the Cards are the best example (other than the Lions) of how losing becomes a habit in the NFL. What a pathetic organization, top to bottom. We should be very, very grateful we don't have that kind of ownership here. They can't even sell out their stadium, and they can't even get on Phoenix tv? How pathetic is that? The Bidwills are legendary for incompetence, greed, fecklessness, what have you. The Lions brought in some good people from the 49ers championship organizations and still haven't made much progress.

We need to bear this in mind the next time we complain about how slowly the skins are comnig along under Gibbs. Turning around an NFL franchise is a herculean task, requiring extremely talented people.

If the Cardinals' owners are doing what they are doing out of greed, then they definitely picked the wrong strategy. If Snyder has shown anything, it's how to run a financially successful franchise. We're currently valued at about 1.3 billion dollars, and the Cardinals are (I believe) valued at less than half of that. . .

Yes, this is a word I've heard my grandfather use before, who was born in the 30's, so old-timer is probably an appropriate name for a guy with an excellent vocabulary.

Look up feckless in an illustrated dictionary, and you'll find a picture of Hugh Grant. He's got no feck whatsoever.
