I love Cartwright he has the heart of a lion. Betts gets hurt too much, I am all for trading him and promoting the Rok. Sorry if the name is mispelled.

He always puts his heart out, he always goes 100%. He does not know what going 75 or 80 percent menas. He always goes all out on every play, he always keeps his feet moving, he is the definition of a Gibbs player.

I've been impressed with Rock since his rookie year in 02. He seemed to have a knack at getting the hard yardage.
Today was HUGE. Good for him!

Agree with all of you. The other thing I like about Rock is the effort you see from him on special teams. He's always down there around the ball. LOVE IT.

Everyone makes mistakes, there human. But at the end of the day, Rock makes more good plays than bad.

I'm sure any talent scout would tell you that Betts is a better player, but Rock is always ready to play. He seems to be a 100% player, and contributes on special teams. Sounds like a core Redskin to me.

That may be true but wuts that talent doing for you when it can't be on the field? That fact alone makes Rock the better player imo.

Except for his untimely fumble in KC that cost us the game Rock has been the MAN all year long.

I like Rock a lot. But he has made some errors that make me scream. Yes, there was the fumble in KC.
What about the missed pass-blocks last year that lead to big sacks? Or even a few years ago, when we were playing the Cowboys, Ramsey threw the ball to Rock on a crossing route out of our endzone. Roy Williams was charging hard towards him, Rock alligator-armed for the catch, Roy picked it off and ran it in for a TD.
Anyone else remember that? That made me sick. First, because it was the goddamn Cowboys, and second because Rock seriously shied away from the impending crunching hit. I saw it, then the commentators showed it on replay, pointing it out. That really put a hurt on the Rock love for me.

Im not going to hold him accountable to past issues with Spurrier. God only knows what they weren't being taught under that idiot.

AS LONG as he holds on to the football he'll be a skin next year

With a name like "Rock" I sure as heck hope we keep him. However, I wouldn't mind seeing one of those two cats (betts/cartwright) make way for my man, Nemo. He played well during the pre-season, and with some time, he will be more of a contributor than both Betts and Cartwright.

Laugh! Very true. But I still remember it, because it was the cowboys.

I want to see more before I sign off on trading Betts.
I want to see him do what he did last week on a regular basis.
Also want to see Nemo.

Rock is a free agent next year we should re-sign him and trade Betts.
Betts has trouble staying on the field but he does have some trade value

Betts and Jacobs could go and I wouldn't sweat it. I'd like to see Jacobs prove me wrong though. We dont have enough room for 4 RB's. I'd like to see Portis, Nemo and Rock. Lets not forget we have Manuel becoming the next Sellers.
