Reggie Bush

This guy is the best college running-back that I have ever seen. He is amazing looks like if you could put Michael Vick at runningback, but give him Ladanian type vision.
What are your thoughts on this guy.

Agreed, he is the best player I've ever seen.
Now I'm only 17, and I know he is only in the NCAA right now, but I have never seen anyone dominate and completely rule a game like Reggie Bush.
Best player I've ever seen...

Should be interesting to see if his success translates to the big leagues. There have been a great many wonders who never could make it stick when they came up.
One thing is for sure. It takes a great deal of maturity to deal with initial mediocrity, especially when you're used to winning. A RB isn't necessaily the Missing Link for either GB or HOU.
QB may be.

even though he's going to be a high pick, he won't be a texan. the texans, if they are smart, will take d'brickishaw ferguson to block for david carr...he'll be a packer or a 49er in my estimation. either way, he's going to instantly help the team he goes to.

This guy's different. He's no Ron Dayne, that's for sure (saying that hurts me a little bit, for some reason
)
Bush is gonna be somethin' sick when he makes it to the big leagues. He just has "it".

While Im a UVA alumni...there is no way you take D Brickishaw with the number 1 or 2 pick. Bush and Leinart are not only two of the best college talents around, but from a franchise standpoint the Texans need to put booties in the seats and these two kids have the star quality that is neccessary to do that, not to mention Bush looks like Ladanian Tomlinson out there against college kids.
David Carr is damaged goods, if they wanna keep him, Bush would be a good move to give him another threat..they should address the line in FA..but if not...Take Leinart and trade Carr for value.
Just my two cents...i don't think you can let those guys slip through.

Mark May, who played with or against John Riggins, Joe Washington, Eric Dickerson, Tony Dorsett, Walter Payton, et al, says Reggie Bush is the best running back he has ever seen.
Hard to beat a compliment like that, and from the Grim Reaper no less.

I remember reading that the Texans desperately wanted Willis McGahee 3 years ago and were crushed when he tore up his knee in that Fiesta Bowl. They ended up taking Andre Johnson.
If they have the #1 overall pick, there's no way they pass up Bush. He's the best college running back I've ever seen and maybe the best college football player of my lifetime.

Reggie Bush is the best player in the draft. PERIOD. Any team who passes on him are fools. I love Portis as our runningback, but if we had the choice to pick up Reggie Bush, I would because we wouldnt have to face him.

his body is in the "clark kent" mold. he is superman. if there is ever going to be another barry sanders it's this guy. he makes ladanian tomlinson look slow and weak.

He has it like that? So he's the truth and its not just that he's so much better than everyone else? A lot of times NFL calibur guys look amazing in contrast to the mediocre but when they get in the NFL where everyone is of their cloth they blend in and no longer stand out.

Bush is 6'/200lbs. Not huge, but he is thick. He has excellent field vision, 4.4 speed and electrifying moves. He can play RB, WR and handle return duties.
On the negative side, he did have minor knee trouble early in his career, and he has been on arguably the most talented offense in recent memory, so opposing defenses can't just focus on him. How will he do on a mediocre offense? That remains to be seen. Also keep in mind that he is excellent in open space because of his superior athleticism compared to most college defenders. He doesn't have to break many tackles at USC.
I think he could be very effective in a Brian Westbrook-type role as pacman has insinuated, nd that may make the best use of his talents. He has the athleticism to be one of the best, but he will have to adapt to better, faster defenders and he will have to bulk-up to be able to break tackles and remain healthy.

Yeah, people can say that he won't be as good in the NFL because the guys are stronger and faster, but the dude had 500 YARDS by himself in one game!!!
Now will he do that in the pros, no. But the guy seriously toys with opossing defenses. It honestly is not fair for them.
Not only will he break the first guys ankles, juke the crap out of the Safety, but then he'll just jump over the next guy... then take it for a TD.
The guy will be amazing, even if he's on Houston.

I think he can be as good as LT or
as bad as Westbrook(not that that is bad).
I think when Houston drafts him, he is going to pull an Eli and demand to go to NY Jets.
Can't say I'd blame him either.
