If we want to find a way to salvage this season then finding a decent reciever with loads of potential we should pick up Price. Although I'm not too high on him in general, picking him up as a late season fill-in would be IDEAL with the situation we have at WR right now. Pick up Price!!!!! In Buffalo he really thrived by playing alongside a reciever like Moulds, who knows, maybe he could revert to that form playing with Moss?

If the Eagles can take Darnerian, then we definitely can take Price. Even if we just get some playbook insight for the Pukes game it would be worth it.
Can't be anyworse than Antonio Brown or Farris. They know our plays, but heck like one of the O-Cordinators said "If you can count to 10 you can play receiver in our offense."

No way, this guy sucks.
He has no motor and no will to play.
Unless we can get him for the minimum, now way.
The Price is right

If the Skins could grab P. Price, I think he could add value for the vet minimun. Besides giving the Skins a peek into the Dallas playbook. Heck if they signed Faris & Pearson why not Price?

With so many of our WRs injured we have to be interested don`t we if we can get him on a rest of season contract. So long as he wasn`t cut for injury reasons. His season stats aren`t impressive but there was the one long reception to suggest he has something.

Judging from his route running and his lack of production, I don't think he could tell you too much about our playbook.

Can he tell us ANYTHING about the inside of the playbook?
Wasn't he released because he couldn't pick up the offense?

..you can always get an advantage even if its just for one week...he's no QB, but he can tell us somethin.
I don't think that's why they cut him, they picked him up during the middle of the season..they have Terry Glen, Keyshawn and and are tampering with Owens, i just don't think he lived up to their expectations. You can't learn the whole playbook on the fly, but im sure he knows their base packages.

They picked him up in the offseason but after OTAs were completed. He was only productive as a return man and at $1.8 million for the year he should have been out producing Crayton at the 3rd spot.

Okay, I thought he was picked up the week before the first game? Like September...meaning he wouldn't be active until a few games in.

I don't remember any good coming from our signing former Cowboys. It just doesn't work. They either stink the place up (Alvin Harper), or they're cursed in some way (Brandon Noble). Don't do it Danny. The price is not right.

-- PEERLESS PRICE
Gibbs told reporters on Monday that the team briefly looked into wide receiver Peerless Price, a 7-year veteran who was released by the Dallas Cowboys last week. Price has 347 career receptions, including a 94-catch season in 2002.
Redskins officials are taking a pass, however.
"We all talked it over," Gibbs said. "We felt like [signing Price] would not fit with us right now."

Man we're lucky to have Gibbs! There are probably a lot of coaches that would have brought this guy in (and let someone valuable go!) and for what?

I can think of 30 coaches off the top of my head that wouldn't be on that list
