you call giving up a 32 yard run to give up the tying td and a 41 yarder in ot a good game by the d, i don't.

i believe LT ran for about 180 today, not good.

Ryan Clark missed the tackle against L. Tomlinson in the last play. Walt Harris was taken care of in it as well.
It was not San Diego, we gave it away AGAIN!
Robert Royal should be CUT right away. But then, we still could have kicked the field goal -within- range if we had not made a holding penalty against Rabach.
Offense played a PATHETIC game in the second half!

Another team lost...
Poor play calling at the end
Defense giving up big plays in OT
Frost needs to find another line of work
I could go on. Fact of the matter is this was our game for the taking.
Lacking the killer instinct that has been missing all year might be a good place to start

Excuses, excuses, is it entirely possible this team is not as good as they led us to believe.

The play calling was bad in the 4th, but Royal and FROST killed us.

Finally Jake has seen that Frost-y has nothing but the unemployment line ahead of him. What a miserable way to lose the last three games!

An old lady can punt 30 yarders!
Let us get a REAL punter!
Frost-y has been getting LESSONS on how to punt over the last two or three games from the punters in the other teams but to NO AVAIL!

Don't forget that they fought their hearts out, he substituted guts for heart this week. No offence to joe but does he actually this stuff he says in the press confrence.

I think you mean does he believe it...
No but he's not known to throw his players under the bus,

He doesn't even send them to the busstop.

The defense picked off three passes and we got Richard.... The offense was patheic and did nothing..

I'm so sick of the same old stuff week in and week out. I'm tired of hearing Gibbs say "we fought hard". No you didn't Joe, you lost again. This team is in need of some serious changes.

Stop saying Robert Royal. Right now. Gates dropped more passes than Royal, and the Chargers won. Did Royal help us? No. But he's not the sole reason.
Poor, overly conservative 2nd half playcalling; inability to convert critical 3rd downs; poor decision making by Brunell; poor tackling and pursuit by defense; poor run defense in the second half.
I agree with the previous poster. This team isn't as good as we thought. We lost to a better team today; it happens.

I am afraid of facing FORMER Redskins:
Trent Green and the Chiefs ...
Chump Bailey and the Broncos ...
Norv Turner and the Raiders ...
Marty Schottenheimer and the Chargers ...
I am glad we are not playing against Stephen Davies and the Panthers
But we still play against the Antonio Pierce Giants and the Jeremiah Trotter Eagles.
A team can not play against ALL AFC teams and lose, and then expect any kind of success in a season.
Good enough to play close games, just not good enough to win consistently. We do not stink. We just do not deserve to go to the playoffs. There are more deserving teams.
Still, this season was another step in the right direction. This is my only consolation.

I agree our players fought hard but our offensive coaches did not!!!Another week of terrible play calling in the fourth quarter. The only good one was the pass to royal which he dropped and nothing to the play makers on the team

ey and Moss!!!!Sad indeed!!!

A step in the right direction? I disagree totally. How can you say this is a step in the right direction? Give some examples to qualify your statement please.

Basically a lot of blame can be placed on a lot of heads today. For all the good plays the D made, they gave up 184 to LT. We got good pressure on Brees early tnen got anway from it and he had time to connect. Rabach's flag killed a potential game winning FG. Offensive play calling with too many 3 & outs was just that, offensive. Run blocking by the O line was mediocre. R. Royal and his many drops were pitiful. Deactivate him. His drops killed drives.Oh yeah, forgot to include W Harris and his soft cushion DB play, and Frost's booming 30 - 35 yd punts. Like I said, plenty of blame to pass around. I hate having to go back to work tomorrow feeling like this. And on and on. Lots of blame to pass around, but at least this week we can't say that the zerbras had anything to do with it.

...and most of 'em (and I mean, most of 'em !) came in the second half. It's almost as if we assumed we had him bottled up. It reminded me of the days when we owned Detroit by containing Sanders, but he always seemed to get two or three good ones in there, as if just to remind us that he was still one of the greatest of all time.
LT could also be a GOAT, in my opinion. Not because he beat us, but because of his style and attitude.
