Spread the Love

Santana Moss has more catches, touchdowns and receiving yardage than the rest of the Redskins receivers combined. He has five touchdowns; the rest of the wide receivers have none. Moss has 988 yards; no other wideout has even 220.

Man, if the Redskins can just learn to spread the love around and get the other WRs active in the game plan, this offense would be so much better.

Ok first of all this is wrong. Technically it is correct. He has more yardage, td's, etc, then all of our 'wide receivers', HOWEVER, because of the many weapons on this team these theorys do not apply.

Mike Sellers for example has 5 touchdowns, the same as Moss.

Chris Cooley comes in second in yardage at 543. As a matter of fact there are 6 players on our offense with an average of more then 10 yards per carry. With David Patten darn close with 9.9 a carry.

You all seem to be missing the simple fact that we have the talent, our plays show enough weapons to easily win every game we've been in thus far this year. We are killing our selves with penalties and poor execution. Fix those two things, hell fix one of them, in most cases, and we go from a team that is on the verge to a team easily in the race for the division title.

Oh and on a side note Mark Brunnell has a bigger longest yard carry then Rock Cartwright. Who would have bet on that after last year?? lol Not me! ;-)

Amen, Niki. It is just another way to spin the numbers. I dont look at the disparity in production from the wide outs as much as I look at...-13. That being our turnover ratio. That is why we could be watching the postseason yet again this season.
