Madden for Xbox 360.

I was really busy over the break and honestly did not have a chance to get really deep into the game thus far. If you've been reading up on Madden360 you'll know that its a very stripped down version of Madden. Usually I'd be more critical of EA for this trend of theirs but for once they didn't give us a rehash of the PS2 version. Tiburon (acutal developer) has actually exceeded my expectations and has begun to take Madden to the next level. This game plays entirely different then wut we have on the PS2 and XBox.

The gameplay is slower but more realistic. During the past gen (ps2, gamecube, xbox) linemen were rated slow but they ALWAYS could run down Portis. The speed ratings were accurate but the ingame performance did not reflect it. The slower gameplay translates well because everyone is not Vick. Everyone is not Santana. When I run to the edges with Portis most people cannot stop him from getting at least 2-3 yards if not more. Santana cannot be covered by LB's anymore! God has heard my cries.

I dont know where to start guys. Wut questions do you have?

I've heard about 360's crashing already have you had any problem with yours yet or is it too early to tell?

No problems on my end. Keep in mind this is usual business for new technology. They're pumping out a lot of 360s, they launched world wide. There are going to be bad 360's here and there. Take it with a grain of salt. My 360 is fine.

How are they? And how much better are the graphics?

And just out of curiosity do you think Microsoft will put more emphasis on making better more memorable games or stay the trend of having a few great games and the rest not worth the money?

All of my games are great. The graphics are amazing but if you dont have high defination its very underwhelming. Ive pplayed on my 30inch HD tv, my cuzins 50 inch HD tv and today on a standard TV which made me want to turn it off.

HD is the future and the games show that they were made for HD.

MS is going to get a bit more games but I dont kno who will win. I think Sony still has the market by the nads.

Call of Duty 2 looked awesome on the in-store demo. I was thinking of picking it up for my PC (alas, no Xbox 360 here), but I don't know if it will compare (I have a crappy monitor), and I dont' really have time for video games.

Nehemiah Broughton is now on the roster and Im stoked. He's big but rated kinda low. Sometimes you can tell when a player has potential when he plays well despite his low rating. Betts morale is dropping because Im giving Nemo carries behind Portis during the preseason, lol.

Jason Campbell is pretty darn quick. Running to the outside is very very productive for Portis. You can easily bounce inside plays to the outside for long gains.

So do you think the players are rated more accurately since it wasn't released until now?

EA always releases updated rosters/ratings throughout the year but I'd have to say that the accuracy stems moreso from the game than the ratings. The ratings are consistent to what was on the PS2 but the physics system is much more accurate imo. No longer is CP getting ran down by slow no name d linemen. Portis can beat most people to the edge and get at least a couple of yards.

Its definately a fun game imo, it doesn't feel as complete but thats not inexcusable to me. Im giving them a pass because instead of rehasing the old stuff they're giving us a breath of fresh air and im willing to deal with some growing pains for this step in a right direction.
