Swashbuckling

Lest I come across as a Gibbs basher I'd like to compliment him on something and pick on Norv a hair.
When Oakland was down at the one Gibbs did not do the old "Holmgren lets them score near the end of the Super Bowl" move (which I thought was the right thing for Holmgren to do in Holmgren's situation). I was happy to see Joe play for stopping the Raiders. I would have loved to have known his thoughts. Did he factor in Norv throwing once? I did. What a bonehead move by Norv. That was exactly when 40 sec WAS vital - at our one with 1:12 to go. Norv is a swachbuckler who goes too far the other way and not running there was pedictable and helpful. He could have taken us down to 20 sec or so by the time we got the ball or made us use our last time out.
Go Denver, go Seattle (or whomever Giants play), and go 'Skins.
