Yes. Bring him in. He is more talented than 98% of the team we have now. Make him sign a short term contract and boot off Samuels and/or Jansen to make room for him.

If we are going to go down it might as well be swinging rather than wussing out the way we did against the Raiders.

Who cares. If he plays for us I will not be a skins fan any longer. That means that the team puts wins before reputation.

Which players are in the 2% that are more talented than T.O.?

See this is my main point of contention.......

People care about how the team looks and/or talks rather than the most important thing:

WINS!!!!!!!!!!!

Really. Maybe with the right medication and Coach Gibbs he could be a model citizen. :o

Great idea...and I would suppose you're gonna pony up the pocket change and cover the cap hit we would take to do this...??? Brilliant. Attack the post, not poster, right...

That same logic, let's go ahead and pry-away Freeney next year and sign him immediately. We'll just wait until near the deadline to trim away the fat and barely cover a 53 man roster. That will help with the pass-rush, right...???

Your posts are beyond venting...

That same logic, let's go ahead and pry-away Sweeney next year and sign him immediately. We'll just wait until near the deadline to trim away the fat and barely cover a 53 man roster. That will help with the pass-rush, right...???

Sweeney??????? Are you referring to Freeney from the Colts?

Anyhow, yeah our "pass rush" with Salavea is really productive

A good player is a good player--bottom line. This is something the idiot Redskins front office needs to learn. Terrell Owens would help out as teams could not double Moss like the Raiders did.

But some want to "LOSE WITH DIGNITY." Not me. I want to win at any costs.

1 playoff appearance in 13 plus years is a national embarrassment.

You may not agree with the methodology, but your requests are part of the problem. Teams that win consistently have built chemistry from their stability together. You need to give this team a chance to gel. Injuries, some miscues, and really bad luck have plagued this team all season long.

You honestly don't expect Gibbs himself to strap on a helmet and execute his own play calling do you...??? He could call the pefect game, but unless it's executed...it means nothing.

Do I think that some of our players are underachieving...sure. But only a select few am I ready to send to the boon-docks and they don't have 6 zeros behind their name which would crush the future aquistion of needed talent and draft ability.

$.02

Just as much as anybody would get cancer or HIV voluntarily. Sure the reason for getting some of that would be a pleasure AT FIRST but then you pay, BIG TIME.

Same here, if the Redskins do get him I will stop cheering for them. It is about HOW you win, not only win at any cost.

If we can not win with character and integrity, I do not want to know ANYTHING about any team.

While I am in no way on the "Sign TO team", I didn't stop rooting for the team when they signed the original TO, Deion Sanders, and I will not stop rooting for the team if they sign TO. That's taking it a bit far.

I understand the sentiment that winning with TO is not as fulfilling as winning without him, but if the team signs him, I will cheer for the other guys and yell at TO to earn his frickin paycheck, the same way I did with Deion.

OMG...mark this on your calendar. SD8 has said something I agree with! While I don't think TO is the answer...wins is what it's all about in the end.

TO = CANCER

What a joke. I know Joe has better sense than even consider this. Danny on theother hand ...

THANKFULLY,

If released, Owens would go through the league's waiver system, with the worst team getting the first shot of claiming him.

Did we all not learn from the Deion fiasco? Apparently not.

I have always said NO to TO, but at this point...WHY NOT? We are sucking right now anyway. Maybe the wizards could use him too.

Come on now you know youd still be cheering your team. Honestly what did T.o do thats so wrong.

This question is, who will pick him up off the waiver wire. He wont be a free agent.

He allowed his personal problems to become a problem for the team; a problem big enough to topple what was considered previously to be one of the best franchises in the league.

That's a good point. However, it begs the question, would teams have to pick up his current contract, or can they sign him for a prorated amount of the vet minimum. After all, Terrell just wants out of Philly; I guess he's willing to audition for a big pay day with another team, no?

i'm sure that t.o. is looking for a 6 game contract, instead of a long term deal.
