Well first off I would like to apologize for any negativaty that came off my keyboard the last 2 days or so, Very frustrated with the loss, but after looking over some things and schedules there is some light at the end of the tunnel. See if you agree.

Current Playoff Picture
1.Seattle 8-2 West vsNYG,@Phi,vsSF,@Ten,vsInd,@GB
Doesn't effect us, but beating NYG this week helps.Proj 12-4

2.Chicago 7-3 North @TB,vsGB,@Pit,vsAtl,@GB,@Min
Needs to beat TB this week as well as ATL and Minn. Proj 12-4

3.Dallas 7-3 East vsDen,@NYG,vsKC,@Was,@Car,vsSTL
As many losses as possible. I see at least 4 losses, some tough road games. KC and StL at home should be 2 wins for the pukes. Proj 9-7

4.Tampa Bay7-3 South vsChi,@NO,@Car,@NE,vsATL,vsNO
Tough road schedule for them and key division games at home. Since we lost the tie break I hope they win the division, so it doesn't matter. Proj. 10-6

5.NYG 7-3 WC @Sea,vsDal,@Phil,vsKC,@Was,@Oak
Not that rough favorable home shed, but tought road games.Proj.11-5

6.Carolina 7-3 WC @Buf,vsAtl,vsTB,@NO,vsDal,@Atl
3 tough division games, but 2 easier road games.Proj 10-6

7.Atlanta 6-4 @Det,@Car,vsNO,@Chi,@TB,vsCar
We need Detroit to get up for turkey day, tough road games for ATl who to me seem not as good as they were. Proj 8-6

8.Washington 5-5 vsSD,@STL,@Ari,vsDal,vsNYG,@Phil
Now for us, the road is favorable. San Diego does travel well, but shut down the run and take away McCardell, that leaves Gates who is banged up and Riche Caldwell, but need to watch the swing to Tomlinson. Should move the ball fine. St.L and Ariz are wins if we play mistake free. Hope we don't get caught looking at the Boys and Giants while in the Desert. Last 2 home games couldn't have come at a better spot in the schedule 2 games WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE. And hopefully the lifeless Eagles by season end, but a rival none the less. 1 game will bit us in the ass. we will go 5-1 down the stretch Proj 10-6

9.Minnesota 5-5 vsCle,@Det,vsSTL,vsPit,@Balt,vsChi
Minnesota is playing well right now I am seeeing win-loss-win followed by 3 losses for a proj 7-9

10.Detroit, Philly, St. Louis 4-6 These teams are not important yet but need to keep an eye on.

Final Standings in my eyes.

1. Seattle 12-4 West and bye
2. Chicago 12-4 North and bye
3. NYG 11-5 East host a WC
4. Tampa Bay10-6 South host a WC
5. Washington10-6 Return matchup with TB on the strength of our 10-2 Conference record.
6. Carolina 10-6 Head to NY for a WC
7. Dallas 9-7
8. Atlanta 8-6
9. Minnesota 7-9

If it all plays out like this it 3 road games to the superbowl most likely, not and easy task, but a chance.

I like your analysis but I don't think that the Cowboys are going to go 2-4 the rest of the year. Also I think that the Panthers will beat out the Bucs for the NFC South crown. That would leave us fighting with the Bucs for the last playoff spot and obviously that loss to them 2 weeks ago has the potential to really come back and haunt us in the end. None of this really matters, however, if we don't beat the Chargers on Sunday. We are still alive for the playoffs but losing on Sunday would pretty much end our chances.

Great analysis. St. Louis, Philly, and Cards should all be easy wins for the 'skins, assuming we don't beat ourselves with the dumb stuff (turnovers, penalties). NYG, 'boys, and Chargers will all be tougher, but not beyond us if both offense and defense show up focused and ready to play. Hopefully, our guys will be up for some payback against the Giants for that humiliation earlier this year.

There are no easy wins for this team. Don't even think about playoffs. Just beat the Chargers!

Basically we need to go 5-1 down the stretch and all three division rivals have to be in the 5.

"One Tall Order to Go Please!"

And yes, if we play mistake free ball we should win in St. Louis and Arizona . . . we just haven't done it much this year.

Let's hope for a resurgent Redskins for the last 6 games - it's time to kick it to the next level.

Let's hope we can score more than about 35 points because the Chargers will score at least 31.

And the Philly game shouldn't be hard - with those guys busy imploding and McNabb on R&R, I just can't see losing that one. Of course, I also told my boss the Raiders game was an easy win, too . . . .

We have a chance to stop their offense if Griffin plays, if not we are cooked once again.

Funny how you say "US" all of a sudden when in all your prior threads you say "your team"...you are an obvious troll. Get a life.

If we want to have a chance at beating the Chargers we are going to have to step up in all areas....offense, defense, special teams. The pressure is definitly going to be on the offense this week as the Chargers have scored 20 or more points in 8 of their 10 games and scored 17 points in the other two games. So even if our defense plays well they are going to get their points and our offense will likely need to put atleast 20 points on the board for us to have a chance, something that we have only been able to do twice this season (Tampa, San Fran).

Actually the exact stats are these.

The Chargers have averaged exactley 30pts per game.

They have also only allowed their opponents to score 20.2 pts per the past 10 games.

So in useing your theory the Redskins will have to score more than 30pts to have a chance.

Again, "useing this theory only" we all know there is no true "for sure" out come in the NFL.

Anything can happen.
