Is Bob Stoops available?

Someone in another thread asked what we should do next well if we lose to the General next week I think it is obvious: Daniel Snyder will begin looking for a new coach and I would personally like to see Bob Stoops for these reasons?
1. He has proven he will ACTUALLY spread out the offense and throw deep and he has won.
2. Being a TRUE DEFENSIVE COACH he will certainly address our embarrassing, insulting Defensive Line problem.
This is Gibbs' last week to try to pull this season together otherwise he can go back to NASCAR I am tired of paying money for Redskins tickets and getting psyched up for the weekend only to not only lose but lose like a bunch of pansies.

This issue is vitally-life and death-- important so it must be continually bumped....
Anyhow, Bob Stoops has proven he can win and can coach A WHOLE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!! AND DO IT WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Game has clearly passed Gibbs by. He disappoints 80,000 people at Fed-Ex with his archaic, boring, no-account, no attack style offense.
And it wasn't the defense that lost us this game, they ONLY GAVE UP 16 POINTS!!!!!!!!!
Our vaunted Hall of Fame coach did what with the offense besides get us 6 points? It is time to stop blaming players that can't play in this league like Jansen and Samuels and Cartwright and Portis and start blaming the coach that puts them in the game.

What are you talking about!?!? Oklahoma sucks! Every year they are the most overrated team in the country. His team pulls a massive choke job every year! And BTW Williams knows a lot more about defense than Stoops does. This is one of the craziest things I have ever heard!

Okay you don't like Stoops, then who do you want coaching the Skins?
Recommendations please. How about Urban Meyer or Ferentz?? Maybe even Tressell

Synder will not fire Gibbs.Synder wasn't even going to fire Spurrier,so you think he will fire Gibbs(no way!!!)The only way Gibbs is going to leave, will be because he wants too.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Stoops isn't the answer and getting rid of Portis isn't the answer. Yes, the O-line isn't that good and the defense isn't as good this year but Gibbs has the right plan, just can't implement it. Letting Pierce can now be seen as a big mistake. It shows now because much of the defenses problems are placements. Marshal is doing his best but he isn't Pierce. I keep asking the same question and have been slammed for it over and over. Why Brunell? Everyone keeps jumping on his come-back wagon but he doesn't get it done. Yes, Brunell has made some plays, but in the last 3 games the ending has been Brunell throwing away the ball, sliding short of the needed yardage or over/under throwing the receiver. Yes, he puts up big numbers in passing yards. And yes, he doesn't throw many interceptions. BUT he fumbles and fumbles and fumbles, what 6 times now. He is looking more and more like the Brunell of last year. Maybe he is secretly hurt again this year to. But then Gibbs says he is our best chance of winning. God help us! Am I negative right now? Darn right I am. We lost to the Raiders, of all teams.

i agree wit the firing of gibbs, guy is too old and dont know wat he doin anymore, we need a a younger, more enthuastic(spell check) firey coach. some1 tat would get on ppl's face if they mess up, not sayin after everygame out guys give it their best shot, after seein many L's every1 know who isnt givin the best shot, and who is, whn i look at tis team, i c only 5 play makers

i nvr said spurrier or college coach in my post..........but remember the falcons who signed a new coach, wit great ideas, and remember they end up in the conference title!!
ofcourse sooon as i press enter, iam get reply sayin "well they lost" but atleast they made it there, and have a greater chance than the skins to be there also!!!!!

Coach is not the awnser, We need more trench players, Oline, Dline type guy are skill possitions arent bad. We will have to address the QB situation as well, Mark will be a year older when the next season begins.
