For the last four weeks I've stood up for this guy saying give him another chance he was so clutch last year in the redzone.

Well, I'm not standing up for him anymore. You're only as good as you're weakest link and it's time to say "by bye" to Mr. Royal. He can't catch and he CERTAINLY can't block! Twice today he just got victimized.

I don't know what his problem is but you just can't put any faith into this guy, his performances lately have been truly pathetic!

Amen...

His twin brother, Jon Jansen, stunk it up today too.

You are right on, though I would say the whole o-line was pretty bad at protecting Brunell today.
The D-line stinks too.

your team needs a lot of work - hang in there in 3 or 4 years you'll be good.

Royal is not helping his chances of keeping his job next season.

Maybe RR isn't 100% yet, or maybe I'm looking for more from him than he's capable of.
Really, so long as he throws his blocks, I can deal with him taking a roster spot.
I'm sure he wants to do well. It's just that missed block against TB last week (resulting in a sack) where he was seen with his arms up after the play is burned into my mind.

I love that Robert Johnson guy... maybe he starts next week?

What we need is a pass rush, and Gregg Williams can't figure out how to get us one with these pieces. We need a quick DE and another WR and then I think we can make a serious SB run in 2006...

I can't believe they actually let him back on the field after the first 2 quarters.

I better not see his name on the roster next week. I mean it. There's too many other more deserving people out there. Start with TB, and stop it right here and show me where the good outweighs the not so good.
He's got to go.

if the redskins need somebody to go out there and drop passes, they can save some cap space by signing me.
