Oakland Raidders!!

Im just starting this thread for those of us who wanna talk about the Raiders and not the Bucs....let's talk about Gruden's former squad and Norv's current one.

To beat these guys we have to keep the ball out of Randy Moss's hands. There is no way in Heck we can leave Walt Harris, Prielou or Rogers in one on one coverage with him.

We have to get a sack out of our Defensive Ends...its pretty sad...especially since Griffin is out.

Lamont Jordan and Jerry Porter aren't bad either. And Kerry Collins can play. They've got weapons on offense!

Hand off to #26, don't turn the ball over, and we won't have to worry about #18. This week is all about controlling the clock more than ever with our D banged up. We will be able to throw plenty on their pourous secondary also.

If ST doesn't play we're going to be in trouble. Remember when he owned RMoss last year? We need ST to play!!!!!!!

Last year when we beat the Vikings with Randy Moss it was because we had an incredible pass rush. I think we had three or four sacks, and we constantly made culpepper throw the ball away. We even got pressure with a three man rush. We can't count on that this week if we don't have Griffin.

I'm thinking we won't win the battle with the Oakland O-line. Lets just put 7 to 8 guys in coverage most of the day.

Not only is that great news, hogman, that is excellent news. I'd love to see him blow up Mr. Moss on a crossing route. I guess since it's not the Eagles, the first order of business is stopping the run and then making Collins beat us with 10-15 play drives ... no explosions please. I'm glad we have them at home. We really need to take care of business here and beat a team we should beat.

ball control and hopefully they will play with some fire this week.this team needs a little spark lit underneath them.

the raaaaaaiders will always be the raaaaaaiders.
i,m hoping that i will see a 6-4 record at about 4 pm on sunday.they do have some weapons that have to be reckoned with.

go skins and please hold onto the ball for once will ya. and create some turnovers for ourselves this time around.

We just have to play Gibbs' style football: control the clock, smother with D, and play a balanced offense. Count a win if we can do all three!

If we can hold serve at home, and beat the Cardinals, Rams and Eagles on the road, we are 12-4.

Hmm...I guess thats the hard way of sayin if we win the rest of our games...ah well, the first way sounds alot more Do-Able.

I hope the defense is really embarrassed about last week's effot and comes out strong this weekend.

Let me tell you something. It is my hope that the Redskins come into this game thinking the Raiders are on their way to the Super Bowl.
It's the only way we're gonna have a chance to win. The Raiders still think they have a shot, and Collins is a very prideful quarterback with a real gun for an arm,. Moss is always, always dnagerous, particularly to crossing guards.
Taylor, if he is indeed playing, will need to show some more discipline. Collins was not the quarterback the last time we played Moss.
Collins knows how to beat us. He's done it so many times with lesser weapons.

Inspired play by the defense? I don't agree. This defense is hyped up and can't get any more hype. They dont have the tools to be effective and our weakness is well known.

The whole team needs to play inspired. Sure, Taylor's return should really help the defence, but we're not there on offence yet either. Next time the Redskins face a crucial 3rd and 2 situation, I want the o-line 5 yards down the field before anybody touches Portis.
