You know what really grinds my gears?

The fact that Jon Gruden made a stupid decision to go for 2 (yes it was stupid), then his teams gets stuffed on the play as the replays clearly showed, but get a terrible call from the refs and suddenly Gruden is being praised for his "gutsy" call.

The media enrages me sometimes with their crap. If that exact play cost the Giants a game there'd be public outcry like there was after the playoff game in San Fran.

Even more annoying is that Aikman and Buck acted as if Dick Vermeil invented the art of going for two in the KC game last week. Unbelievable!!! Shows how conservative most coaches are these days. A couple of teams win off of two point conversions and their coaches are geniuses!!! Whatever.

And Vermeil didn't even go for 2.

He went for a TD to win the game.

Ridiculous.

No, what killed me was how we actually blocked the game tying PAT, I mean we BLOCKED the GAME TYING PAT and it gets called back.

I will say that over and over again to myself, we blocked the game tying PAT and the refs called it back...

i have it on tape and it's hard to tell on frame-by-frame replay, since each frame is a little blurry, but it seems like our guys were clearly MOVING before the snap, but may not have actually crossed the line.

They definitely crossed the line early, unfortunately. :(

However, that doesn't mean that the 2-pointer was good (it wasn't!), and it doesn't mean that the 7 points the Bucs were gifted in the first half (force out my butt!) was warranted.

I totally agree. At least Aikman said during the replay that the elbow was down before the goal line, and therefore was not a successful conversion, but after the call came back, he never mentioned it again, and they never showed that replay angle again. They never even showed it on NFL Prime Time, or even gave the suggestion that there was a question whether or not he made it. All they could talk about was the gutsy call. Does anyone have a picture of the elbow touching down before the goal line? I can't find one anywhere. I can't even find mention of that view anywhere in the media. They could easily pull the picture from the video feed, so why don't they? I'm awaiting the NFL's apology for the blown call.

They might not grind so much if you took them out of your mouth.
