Key Matchups

Simon Rice vs Samuals
Barber vs Moss
Brooks vs Cooley

What I can't wait to see is the coach matchups
Gruden vs Williams
Monte vs Gibbs

My perdiction for the player ones are
edge Rice, only an ultra biast Redskin fan would give Samuals the edge.
edge Santana
even

That'd be me. :D

Samuels

Moss

Cooley---Now I would say it's even, but the way COOLEY has been playing mannnnnn, I gotta go with him.

However, Cooley is dinged, so I dunno? :hmm:

Edge Rice

Edge Skins for other reasons.

With a young quarterback leading the Bucs struggling offense, I think the Redskins will focus on making the Bucs one dimensional by taking away the run.

If we can bottle up the young Williams and make Sims beat us through the air, I think Sims will be forced into some mistakes that we will need to turn into points against their defense.

The first team to 17 points probably wins this one. My 2 cents

Simeon started last week and did NOTHING. Not one tackle.

My ultra-biased vote goes to Samuels and his supporting cast of blockers.

That may have been last week....

I remember when we played the Bucs 2 years ago when Rice smoked Samuels (and the rest of our offense). It was the game where the Bucs scored on almost the same exact play twice. I have attached the stats link. The game was on October 12th.

Rice had 6 Tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 recovered fumble.

I hope Samuels has a good game....we need it. With a left handed QB, this matchup is a must win for Samules, for our offense to be successful.

I remember that... I think Samuels remembered that too...
Which is why he was held to 3 tackles and a pretty good veiw of the game last year.

The Cowboys beat the Giants and the Giants beat the Skins 36-0. Thee is no way the Skins could beat the Cowboys, well by that logic anyway. I wouldn't base one player or team off of one game. That was a flunk, have you ever heard of that.

Flunk refers to school. Fluke would be a better reference to football.

It's still a little confusing that so many people place so much importance on what happened in the past and how that is any sort of an indicator of what might happen this year with this team and these players!

I think that if anything when you have a all-pro like Samuels against a very good lineman like Rice, then Samuels is going to be fired up (and better prepared by Bugel) to do a better job this time around.

I'm glad you feel good about yourself. Now go find a silver star and stick it on your shirt.
