What's wrong with this picture?

There seems to be a conspiracy of incompetence spreading through the sports media. How do you get a guy's name wrong when you can read it on his jersey in the picture! (Never mind those two very large jersey numbers that should be the first clue.)
(BTW, Quintin Mikell would be the Eagles DB who wears 27.)

I've always said Mikell was the Skins worst player, always wearing the wrong uniform and only showing up twice a year ... we've got to cut this guy

I think the more shocking thing is that you're all still surprised by incompetence in the media.
At least it was the opposing team's player... I'm still trying to figure out how they got Cedric Benson's photo for Lavar Arrington over at ESPN.

Maybe Mikell was 27 for us that night...sure didn't look like Harris to me...

they have been f ing up our names all year. the only announcers i listen to are sonny and the gang
during the denver game they called mark tom or some crap 2 or 3 times.
oh and the 1 the announcers that pissed me off the most....NY giants.... every 30 seconds... wellington merra wellington merra wellington merra .....SHUT up!

Don't forget the "Scot Brunell" fiasco....c'mon Brunell has been in the league for over a decade...how can you not know his first name is Mark....

I hear ya on that... You guys ever notice they dont mess up on the names of other players around the NFL? They cant be doing it on purpose, but still... It's wierd.

Bingo! I am always a little amused when this is pointed out as if it surprises some of us here!
The other posts that amuse me is when guys point out what fans at other sites are saying. Who cares and who has the time? It takes most of the spare time I have just to assimilate what is going on here between people who know what is happening!
Leave that "stuff" alone!

Walt, when viewed from the appropriate angles, kinda looks like a Quintin, no ?
It's easy to see how the mistake could be made. After all, Westbrook can't get out of his own way...
