I am a huge Stallone fan, I love all the Rocky's, even V. So due to the recent news of Rocky VI, thought i'd make a poll. I will make a Rambo poll as soon as im done with this one.

I had to go with IV, training in Siberia is unmatched.

Are you kidding??? Do you remember "ThunderLips"? Clubber Lang? Rocky Balboa training in the ghetto? The death of Micky???

These things alone trump the whole robot-maid gimmick from part IV.

Put part III on loop all day long for me, baby!!

III is great. What other movie had Mr. T, Hulk Hogan and Stallone in it?

But IV..."If he dies, he dies...I will break you"-Ivan Drago

IV also proved that the US won the cold war.

I prefer the original, because he loses at the end.

one of the few sequels that ruled! IV, aka: the russian one. By far the best in my opinion.

I liked Rocky IV the best, The one where the fight was in Russia against Ivan Drago

He doesn't really lose, Creed wins on a technicality.

You gotta beat the man, to be the man.

He was beating him, they just ran out of rounds. So he beat him officially in Rocky II.

Any movie with Hulk Hogan deserves to have the sleeper slapped on it by Piper.

No one has voted for V!? I wonder why? I know most people hate it, but come on, show-down with Tommy Gunn? His son beating up that fat kid? Pauly's robot friend? Its great.

Rocky IV was the coolest IMO. The soundtrack kicked butt. The whole atmosphere of the movie was cool.

IV was good but none touched the first one for drama.

In which one did he shadow box his way to the top of all those steps? I vaguely remeber that one so it gets my vote.

Ill give you police academy but the others were before my time. I used to watch PA after coming home from church with my mom to eat dinner.

Robocop is the man, dont ever talk about about him. OCP is gunna lay the smacketh down on your candy you know wut. Nothing beats Transformers: The movie. I was only 8 but I cried like a little B.I when Optimus died.

Which Rocky was Mr T in? I pity the fooool!

You really can't beat the original. That movie was all about heart, the story, we saw Adrienne develop from one ugly chick to one that ain't so bad. It had the most passion and the story line was the best of them all. Also, the soundtrack was the best.

"Take it back.....do do do do....take it back." Gotta love those street singers.

Yeah, but as your watching it, just remeber that Stallone grew up in Silver Spring.

Now on this one I will make a serious reply. Rocky itself was a sound, unpretentious, decent little movie. It reminded me of Ali vs Chuck Wepner...which is probably where Stallone got the idea. It had some plausible explanation for Rocky being able to last more than a few minutes with Apollo / Ali. Of course Rocky does a lot more than Wepner, who basically lasted out the fight, but barely hit Ali, but then, this is a Hollywood happy ending movie.

But when Stallone started needing to have Rocky win, well, it was vomit-bag time.

its a movie, not a documentary. Its meant to be entertaining. Of coarse Rocky has to win, its called ROCKY.

There was only one great Rocky film that I remember, and it didn't have a roman numeral number next to it, as I recall.
