Ive heard many things thrown around.

I jsut recently heard on Mike and Mike that a college analyst recently spoke to a shrink about TO. He told her how he felt and she asked him if he knew about his childhood and that if you looked at it would explain a lot of his issues.

He's a grown man. I blame him.

I can't really pick just one. I think that T.O. has every right to ask for more money. He helped get the Eagles over the hump last season and risked his career to have an outstanding game in the Super Bowl. That being said, T.O. certainly isn't an innocent party. He sometimes seems to speak without thinking, which is why he needs a good agent.

Rosenhaus is a great agent money-wise. Every team hates dealing with him, which means he is a tough negotiator and gets what he feels his client deserves. That being said, T.O. needs an agent that advises him; someone to call him up and say, "Look. Michael Irvin said the team would be undefeated with Brett Favre. Now I don't know what you think about that, but what you should say is, 'Donovan McNabb is my quarterback, and I support him 100%'."

The media is also partially to blame, because they know T.O. has a big mouth, and so they ask him questions with the direct intent of getting him to disparage his teammates, or take advantage of the insecurities that make him so volitile.

The Eagles organization is partly to blame, as they refuse to acknowledge T.O. as a key player. They refuse to celebrate his 100th career TD catch, and expect him to be the happy teammate. Had he not been suspended, he would have been at FedEx Field when Portis received a standing ovation as the JumboTron reported he had passed the 5000 yard mark.

As for selfishness, that's just part of the game these days. I don't want to accept it, but I have no choice. Any team in the NFL will cut any player at anytime to gain an advantage, so you can't blame any player (yes, even T.O.) for looking out for themselves in the same manner. Gone are the days when the majority of players play for the same team for the duration of their career.

As to his childhood, I don't know anything about it, so I cannot address it.

Whose actions are these? Is his agent physically fighting his teammates? Is someone else saying these comments thru TO's mouth?

TO is a GROWN man. He is COMPLETELY responsible for this mess!!

TO is a frigg'n idiot. If your a man, you know how to respect others, be respondsible and know the difference between right and wrong. Clearly this idiot does not. He makes the same mistake over and over and I feel sorry for team that picks him up. He is responsible for his own actions.

I think, as the Sports Guy wrote, that too much of this is being placed on TO's shoulders. Is he a petulant twit? Yes. But the Eagles let this problem fester, they could have nipped this in the bud MONTHS ago. They chose to sign him and ignore him when he started running his mouth and now they can't claim to be the agrieved party taking the high road.
