I think this is the 80's all over again, the two best teams are the Giants and the Redskins. Who do you all think are the two best.

Cowboys and Redskins. One game does not mean that the Giants have any defense.

the giants & eagles (with TO)

without TO, it's giants and redskins.

With or without TO the Eagles are not what they once were. Skins and Cowboys

I think it's pretty much a 3 horse race with each horse about even.

Dallas
Giants
Skins

I can agree with that but I still dont feel the Giants have a legitimate D. I know they spanked us but I honestly feel that we just fell apart and that it just so happened to be on that day. They wont win the 2nd game, I dont see either the Pukes beating us at home and Philty is burning down.

I have to agree here. The Gients defense has not played dominating football except for one game against us. Dallas Defense is a scary defense that we beat on two plays to win the game in Dallas. Everyone forgets that they had us bottled up all game and only remembers the final score. We came to play in Dallas and got beat for almost 4 quarters. The Giants game we never even showed up to play. So although I think the Giants offense is for real I keep calling them the NFC's 2005 version of the AFC's 2004 Colts. They may make the playoffs but they ain't going to the SB. The Eagles are in disarray and whilse stil la dangeroud team I don't expect them to pull things out.

So Redskins and Dallas. Don't count the Homes games agaisnt Dallas and the Giants as wins just yet guys. But I'd feel better about playing the giants at home than Dallas right now.

Editor's Note: Of course, this will all change in the next few weeks as I see how Dallas fares without Flozell Adams.

the giants will be exposed as fraudulent at some point, even if it takes until the playoffs. they are not "for real". as much as it pains me to say, the cowboys are probably the better team. like someone else said, it's all about the defense. the giants haven't proved they can play good defense in any consistent manner.

as many big plays as we've given up, we're still ranked in the top 10 (8th). whereas the giants are in the bottom 10.

The Cowboys may well be better than the Giants but that really doesn't matter to us. For our purposes what matters is which team is going to challenge us for the division title, and that team is the Giants. The Cowboys are 5-3 but their schedule is brutal the rest of the year and I don't think that they will be able to stay in the playoff hunt because of that. The Giants, on the other hand, have had a very easy schedule so far this year and it is easier than the Cowboys' the rest of the year.

Interesting, but pretty optimistic.

I think the Giants will beat Minn. this weekend and beat KC at home. 4-4. And I think the Cowboys can beat Philly this weekend, beat KC and have a fighting chance at Fedex. Again could end up 5-3 or even 6-2.

Either way, you gotta love the East this year. (And you gotta love seeing the Iggles in the basement.)

Well I think we can beat them at home.
I let them split denverf and kc. No way they beat carolina and they'll probably take the rams at home. I'm stick'n with what i put on dallas, but the giants, I may be off a game or two... :?
