Good question. I'm going to go with Seatle, if only because their season is a bit easier at the end of the year than Carolina's is.

Seattle because their division is so weak.


Nobody has an easier schedule than Tampa Bay tho. They still haven't played a team with a winning record.

I say Carolina's schedule is much softer. Seattle has to play the NFC East.

I'm hoping Seattle does better though, because we beat them head to head and have any tie-breakers over them.

this is why the NFL should do away with the antiquated divisional system. it is completely contrary to the whole "parity" concept they are trying to establish.

3 or 4 of the best teams in the NFC may all be in the NFC East this year. yet there are only 3 wildcard spots to go around. it is very likely that one or even two really good teams from the NFC East may not make the playoffs, while some crappy team from the NFC North gets in automatically by winning their utterly hapless division. this makes no sense.

the team with the better record should get the playoff bid automatically.


...and that doesn't even address the issue of absurdly imbalanced "strength of schedule". the redskins could finish 10-6 against one of the toughest schedules in the leage, yet lose their playoff spot to some team that goes 11-5 by beating up on losers the whole year.
