Hi folks,
This is my 3,000th post. It is time to pay tribute to those that deserve it.

Apologies in advance to those that I may have left out unintentionally.
Maybe some of you have not visited yet the site info linkof this website. I read with interest the first two paragraphs:
You guys do a better-than-professional job! Congratulations for setting-up and maintaining a home for all Redskins fans. I am very proud of your and our site.
I offer to give some thought to the web design of an automated tabulation section for Hognostication scores if you like. I will have no more excuses to miss additions (and subtractions) as well as higher and lower scorers. Maybe we can do that for the next season.
But everybody can help to different degrees. I ask you ALL a favour. Could you please start from the Main Page all the way down through the various pages and click on the links of our sponsors? It is not too much to ask to help keep this site up with their support. So, go and do it! (please)
I also want to thank ALL posters that abide by the rules. I am not going to name a few because I am going to miss many. One of the best contributions of this site is to make better and more informed Redskins fans. And in some small measure post-by-post everybody contributes to help everybody else.
Last but not least, you may forgive me if I bring the name of one of the best Redskins of all time at this occasion: Art Monk.
Art has been nominated again for the Hall of Fame. I hope he makes it this time. I will keep on supporting a just and worthy cause.

Let me take advantage of this already long post to say that I am mightily IMPRESSED by the quality of many views and articles prepared by the STAFF of this site week in and week out during the NFL season. It is a GIGANTIC amount of work. The fact that you read those articles and you see in them qualities and insight not seen in the commercial media is a tribute to their knowledge and study of the game.
I have NO DOUBT that several people and the team combined could make a living out of this. If I only owned the Redskins, you guys would be already in my payroll!!!

theHogs.net began in August of 2002 solely as a place to give a few Redskins fans a source for posting pictures of training camp. Before long, our goal became bringing Redskins fans a place to hang out and maybe find a few things that couldn't be found anywhere else on the web.
However, due to the blood, sweat and tears of the volunteer staff, we have grown in leaps and bounds. We now serve up fresh, exclusive content 7 days a week during the regular season. We bring you the Redskin fan's perspective every day, and our volunteers have blossomed into a great writing staff. We were posting so many articles that we set up a database to better keep track of them all.
