Worried about Westbrook

With or without T.O., my main worry when playing the Eagles is Brian Westbrook. The Redskins have historically had a problem stopping mid-range passes and Westbrook in the flat, in my opinion, can be deadly. I hope they find a way to stop this guy both in the air and on the ground. If the Redskins can't stop him, we'll be in for a very long day indeed.

None of our LB's can run with Westbrook IMO. Hopefully, we can contain him with everyone swarming to the ball.

i am also worried about westbrook. the only chance they have is to get him going on a ton of those wussy little dink screens- unfortunately, that is their specialty, since they are a bunch of sissies.

I can't think of ANY linebacker that can cover WB solo.

How about when Shawn Springs is lined up as a linebacker? He did it a few times in the game against Chicago.

Simmer down, guys. Michael Westbrook has a better chance to beat us than does Brian Westbrook.

I'm confident G. Williams will come up with a plan to contain him and, perhaps, our D will actually tackle this game...

I agree the defense will be able to handle Westy, but not with just one LB taking him on. He and TO are their weapons.

Im not too worried about westbrook, the last time we played the Eagles on Monday Night we shut him down, and they had a Healthy TO and Mcnabb. We just have to force them into some third longs cause Mcnabbe is too hurt to make big plays.

Im a little worried about the toss plays to the perimeter, which for some reason teams have been able to gain huge chunks of yardage against us this year. Hopefully with TO out we can completely shut down their offense. This game is HUGE, and our season may be riding on it.

If we can stay low and tackle we will be fine. Our guys dont have a problem getting to the play quickly, they are having trouble ending the play on first contact

Man, if I have to watch another RB break off another 59 yard dash on the outside I'm going to crap my pants. Seriously, it will be gross.

Hopefully Arrington can make a difference preventing those runs out there.
