Over at NFL.com, things are weird...

All the prasing of the Skins is something I thought I would never see. I want my team to be the underdogs and shut the mouths of "experts" like Peter King and Dr.Z. I know we are getting credit for playing good, but I remember the constant bashing by the media and now they give us credit. The media is too fickle.

wow that was quick. But I agree I like being the underdogs and hearing people on the NFL Network say things like "who would have expected *fill in random redskin greatness*"

But at least we are getting this praise during the season instead of in the offseason. However, if we keep this up we will hopefully be hearing it deep into the post season.

Of course they are gonna says good thing...because at the end of the year they want to be able to say I said back in Oct. this was a team....blah,blah, blah!!

That's probably why they pick about 3-4 underdogs each. The Redskins will become an even more popular choice if they beat the Giants this week. Everyone is looking for the next "Patriots" or "Carolina" team so that they can make their claim on expertise and fame.

Just remember that Joe Theismann is the only one that gets credit for predicting success for the Redskins this season. The rest of them can kiss my big ol' butt.

it'll only take one ugly loss before the 'experts' are trashing us again. so don't get too comfortable.

And Joe (T) knows Joe (G).

Recall the pre-game before SB 26. Tom Jackson and all the "experts" on ESPN assured us that Buffalo would sweep the Redskins off the field. Joe T. said, No, and it won't even be close.

Hahaha ... Joe, I bet you're a Red Sox fan, that's some classic Sox optimism right there

Cold Pizza Skip
"The washington redskins are the beast of the east. The brunnel factor because Joe Gibbs turned him around and they found out how to use clinton." i smell a flip flop begging of year we were predicted last, by one and the only skip. Mark had a good interview and he describes santana as a "gift". Lavernues must feel like he was coal in mark's stocking.

Skip is a putz and the main reason I hate Cold Pizza. He can take his flip flop and cram it.

Amen ... he and that moron Woody are, quite possibly, the two stupidest people on that channel and that is saying something. In a more just society they would both be given jobs licking the bathroom floor.

Who did? We did and we based our predictions on objective analysis of the preseason and the roster changes that were made. This season has been surprising so far but it was by no means unexpected.

BTW, none of them are welcome on the bandwagon. All they did was VICOUSLY trash us and now they think they can make up for it. There was no objective analysis. It was all "Dan Snyder and Joe Gibbs are idiots..." All they did was make petty personal attacks, they all thought they were so freaking funny and clever! What a bunch of jerks, they can all go to hell! I don't care what they say, they are such hypocrites.

I'd rather watch a loop of Berman introducing Albert "Winnie the" Pujols for three hours than Cold Pizza.

I was so shocked when I read this article. I keept waiting for someone to come up with some stupid excuse for Brunell doing well, and then worship Bledsoe and the cowboys, but it never happened, i wasn't sure what to do, Im so used to the media and friends giving us crap.

That other guy on Cold Pizza said Philly has the best run defense in the league. I know they completely shut down LT, but I remember them giving up a lot of rushing yards before that game.

Terry Bradshaw has a short memory too

I have never been as impressed with one guy as I have thus far this season by Mark Brunell. I will say it again. I will never, ever again question Joe Gibbs, one of the greatest coaches ever, when he says someone still has some football in him. We all thought Mark Brunell was done and all he does is throw for three more touchdowns and keep the Redskins in the playoff race.

Gibbs has ironed out and firmed up the protection for Brunell this season and apparently he knew more than me when he benched Patrick Ramsey. I didn't understand bringing back Brunell, but now I do.

ABSOLUTELY. Do you remember that we asked that question during the recent interview?

Do you guys remember Joey T. speaking after Gibbs was announced as coach of the Skins. He was like a kid at Christmas. The only blunder Joey T. made was by stating that Patrick Ramsey was the luckiest man on the face of the earth. I would be willing to bet Patrick doesn't see it that way....

WOW. This is awesome. I am so glad Brunell is getting the props he deserves. Thank you very much for the link.
