Do you guys think that the G-men will gain an advantage on D over the 'Skins O by having Pierce at LB,being that he was such a mainstay for us last year and that he might be able to put his teammates in positions to make plays that they might not make on us otherwise.I don't think the G-men have been playing very good defense, but I expect them to pick it up a bit, being that is rivalry game and just wondered what some of your thoughts were?

Our offense looks a lot different than last year, don't you think?

Doesn't matter anyway. We're going to run over the sorry g-men.

His contributions, in my opinion, would be more for THEIR offense rather than for their defense. If, in fact, the defensive formations and coverage lingo are still the same as last year (hypothetically speaking, of course), Eli could certainly audible to a different play or two.

I had not given that much thought to Pierce being in NY until you brought it up, and I certainly think it bears mentioning.

That being said, Gibbs, Williams, and co. will have already planned for this since Antonio signed his megadeal.

We should win handily.

Gibbs mentioned that he was worried about Tim Hasselbeck and Pierece over there giving away signals, but he also said that he has done this before and they will change things up to trick them.

I do not think AP will make much of a difference except that he is a good MLB for them and that he will obviously want to do well against his former team!

This is just shaping up to be very important to both teams as #5 looks a little dinged right now and IMO these 2 teams are playing well enough to possibly beating the birds at this time. They are finding ways to win without being all that good and we are begining to put it all together in all facets of the game. No team in the NFL has looked as good as we do over the last 3 weeks.

This should be a very good game and I hope it lives up to all expectations. We are both not going to be too far off the pace after this game but I still think that the gints and pukes are 8-8 or 9-7 at best.

Exactly. It won't matter until the game is played.

If we execute and do not turn the ball over then it won't matter if we give them diagrams before we run the plays. If you're blocked you're blocked regardless if you know its coming or not.

Agreed - it's all about running, catching and tackling. Really very simple - going to be a good game and old fashioned NFC East brawl, with the game decided by less than 7.
Matter of fact this might be a game to take the under! Oh that's right, they don't have much of a D, do they? :)

I really do not know. But this game will be telling in more ways than one about that point.

exactly-- 2nd best offense going up against the 2nd worst defense! plus, their hyped offense is actually only #15 in the NFL-- despite playing defenses ranked:

7
11
15
21
22
29

they lost the game against the only top 10 defense they played (cowboys, #7).

there is no reason this game should even be close. we should win 34-21.

I am sure Gregg and Coach Joe Gibbs have thought of that and I think they are a much smarter duo than just Antonio Pierce

WE WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM!!!

plus our offense is much different....WE CAN THROW
