What must Coles be thinking?

I hate to sound redundant, but what the hell must Coles be thinking? In one sentence, what are your thoughts on what Laverneus Coles must be thinking about the trade between him and Moss right now?

"Whatever, it's a fluke, if Pennigton was healthy I'd be putting up similar numbers, Snyder is a liar and I hate the Redskins."

Well you know he's BLAMING someone! He'll blame the new OC over there or the QB situation or he'll say that our system got better because we have Musgrave now! Whatever it is, you know he ain't going to blame his toe. Even though the numbers prove otherwise. Coles just sdmit you're not the same player you were 2 years ago, you just can't find the endzzone!

Moss has been here for 6 games & has like half the TD's you had in 2 years being here!

I'll have to admit it, I was dissapointed when we got SMoss. I was praying we'd get a dominant WR in MWilliams. I thought our offense would suffer once again because of the lack of a deep pass threat. Boy was I wrong. SMoss is the reason we're winning games. He's the reason we're actually gaining some respect. Without Santana, Brunell (or Ramsey) would've suffered. He would be heavily blitzed leaving him no option other than the bench. Now, the defenses we face actually play honestly. They realize our "smurfs" can beat them with their speed. CP hasn't played to his full potential yet, but that'll come along.
SMoss is the best WR in the league, in terms of yards with 743 in six games. MBrunell is the #1 QB in the NFC. Things are looking very good, we just need to keep it up and keep on improving!
Wow...to think of what Coles is missing right now. Too bad...sucker!

He is on pace to have less yards than last year.

Last night they didn't use him to stretch the field so I don't know whats up with that.

"What the hell, I got paid, I screwed them"

This guy seemed to be putting it on the line for the team and seemed to be the deep threat we needed, but, when it came right down to it he would not take the chance on the toe surgery. C-YA!

BTW - IMO the offensive line is the big difference - those guys are making a lot of our guys (including Moss) look really good this year. This is a team game and everybody looks good because that line is finding it's groove and getting more used to each other. I think that the KC game was big wake-up for these guys and last week was fantastic to watch.

I hope that LC got a nice TV to watch the game in NY this week. He has a bye week, so he can rest his toe and watch the guys from the U do their thing.

enjoy that game, JP?

For all of the mistakes Dan Snyder has made during his run as owner, I really think he is putting something in place that could be special. Laverneus Coles and Santana Moss are the same type of reciever who have an almost identical playing style. But, Moss is on pace to have twice as many yards as Coles did last year  . We are starting to see that the playcalling was there all along, we just needed different players.

Maybe the Jets owner will buy him one next year when he relizes how much dough he has tied up in a reciever that averges 10 YPC

maybe the QB isn't throwing him the ball after his confession of being molested at a youngage a couple weeks back.
