Check the results: Denver leads 23 - 10 with under 5 minutes. Giants score TD, Denver drives to Giants 35, Giants get ball with 3 minutes, score 2 yard TD pass with five seconds to play. (Drive: 15 plays, 83 yards in 3:24).

Showdown next week.

The Giants are going to be a very tough and difficult matchup for us next week.

I'm looking forward to this test. The Giants are better than they were last year, but I think our defense will prove to be the difference.

The Skins are a better team than the Giants. It will be tough, but we will prevail. The next two weeks will give the Skins the opportunity to show who the real contender is this year in the NFC East!!!!

The Giants will be a tough game for our Skins. If we dont turn the ball over, we got a great chance of winning.

We also have to force a lot of turnovers as well. We saw how well that worked out today. We forced turnovers and capitalized off of them.

Man I was watching that Denver game, how did they lose that game?

And I think next week is going to be a tough battle, but I think we will prevail.

With the way our offense is clicking I think we should be OK on the offensive side of the ball. And if the D can prevent big plays and pressure Eli I think they will be able to contain them.

Also, it's the long awaited rematch against AP, and I wish for is for Portis to break his ankles  (and of course a win)

We will roll over the Giants on the way to take rightful posession of #1 in the NFC East. Boy, I would love to be in NYC next weekend.

For beating the 49ers(worst team in the NFL), that's a lot of overconfidence. Hopefully, the Redskins aren't looking past the giants like you are when they ended up coming back and beating the Broncos; unlike the Redskins.

Our defense will be tough for the Giants but the Redskins have to score points. The Redskins will face another speed back in Barber when they have already had trouble containing Bell and Holmes. Eli Manning appears to be a clutch quarterback when the game is on the line so it would be nice to put them away early.

Lavar is back now though (when he should have bben playing all along) and hopefully Portis can show that his sucess in San Francisco isn't a fluke. I think if the Redskins can manage to put up 20 or more points and not give any free points to the Giants via turnovers, Redskins can win.

Matchups may favor the skins on paper but this is a rivalry and that gets thrown out the window. It's gonna be a highly competitive game.

Well first I'd like to say we should be confident from this win... the niners are the worst, but can still manage to put of a fight on any given sunday. the niners handled the rams and played better than than pukes when they faced each other 3 weeks ago. seeing that we not just won, but blew them away says to me that were ready to take on any team.

as for the giants... turnovers... that's the key. just like in the kc game, if we had not committed any turnovers, that game would have easily been ours. it will be a great matchup and a big stride for us beating a divisional opponent to make our playoff bound odds even better.

I agree. We are clicking right now, and usually play well against the G-spots. I've got a feeling about this game. 35-17
But Redeemed, wouldn't you rather be in the Meadowlands? :hmm:

Actually, I'd love to be at THE FALLS again. Those people were live in there. All Skins fans!!!!!!

If I were at the Meadowlands, that'd mean I'd have had to leave my wife behind, since they are price gouging for tickets right now, and then, who, just who would sport the Wuerffel jersey in her absence???? (Note: I now wear the #8 jersey to games).

Amen brother! But what a big win for us this would be. I'll be surprised if it's not a seat of the pants, heartbreak finish again. Just think it's going to go our way this time!I just like the way the coaches are bringing this team along right now. I mean, in the last 3 weeks we have been the most consistent team in the NFL AND we are only going to get better!

That, plus the "return" of you know who, has to make these next 3 teams a little nervous. Greg B and Greg W have to be very pleased with how it all worked and IMO Arrington looked like he needs to get the work in. This is going to be a big-time defensive group soon.
