weird injuries

has anyone been reading the injury stuff for the last few days? i just read two tonight that struck me as odd:
Calvin Pace, Arizona Cardinals DE fell through a window and cut his arm, he's out for the year.
Ken Hamlin, Seattle Seahawks S, got hit in the head with a street sign and has a fractured skull after a barfight...
??????????? what's going on!? firs the vikings sex party, now these guys are just being boneheads, whats up with that?
