Ok so ChrisHanburger's shot didn't work so next week. I say we all play a drinking game so next week we'll all do our part to help the karma. All of us, of legal drinking age that it! You youngins' feel free to follow along with your sodas!

But here's the idea. I was just looking at the pictures of the game from today and it says this under one of Ladell Betts

Ladell Betts keeps chugging for yardage.

So the new game is called "Chugging for Yardage"! You pick an offensive player and everytime the gain positive yardage you have to 'chug' your drink. And no cheating, you can't pick Jansen or Rabach. lol This game just came to me, so I'm willing to listen to suggestions on how to improve it.

Oh and I'm not commentting on today's game. I called a local radio show's post game coverage because I got sick of the complaining and I was disappointed to come home and see it here too!

...That is like having a "take a drink" thing for whenever Mike Vick is mentioned in a VTech game.

It's actually not that bad, because we have lots of different weapons. I just know I won't be picking Portis. lol I'll stick with someone like ey.

I've already started a Redskins drinking game. Here's the rules.

Offensively:
Completed Pass - 2 drinks of drink
Run for +5 or more - 2 drinks
Touchdown - 1 Shot
Field Goal - 10 Drinks
Interception - 1 shot
Fumble - 1 shot

Defensively:
Completed Pass - 2 drinks of drink
Run for +5 or more - 3 Drinks
Touchdown - 2 shots
Field Goal - 10 drinks
Interception - 1 shot
Fumble - 1 shot

Penalties on Redskins - 1 drink if it is a bad call 2 drinks if it's a decent call.

I am emabarrased and chagrined to inform you that I..........didn't do the shot......I covered this in the "Respect" thread on the Hogwash forum. Here's my feeble explanation..

Let me explain myself. I was at a local sportsbar with just one of the 50 screens showing the Skins game. I couldn't hear anything as the Dallas game was blaring over the speakers. I had a dumbass drunk Pats fan talking my ear off and I couldn't concentrate. I was by myself and just wanted to watch the game but that guy took me out of my game and I completely forgot the shot!

I apologize to the THN family for letting you down. It will never happen again...... I guess its back to listening at home to Sam and Sonny over streaming internet from now on

So I still believe in the Miracle Shot, its just I gotta get my act together. That will include:

1) of course NEVER forgetting again, as you may remember I almost forgot for the Seattle game. I've learned my lesson.

2) Always carrying my trusty Redskins shotglass and a nip of vodka with me if I'm watching the game anywhere other than from home (This will be tricky when I travel to the Giants game on 10/30).

Well, maybe you can "take a shot" at a drunk giants fan, instead. It may not win us the game, but you'll be glad you did.

Might be a bit risky in enemy territory. The guy I go with (this will be our 2nd year) is a Giants fan so I'll be all alone. We've been watching the Skins/Giants game on TV together for years and finally decided to take the trip last year. We were supposed to go to DC this year, but its xmas eve and we just can't pull that off.

Needless to say, I'll be looking for other Skins fans at the meadowlands.

So, sock your friend, where he won't bruise easily. Just explain it to him afterwards, and I'm sure he'll understand. After all, what are friends for.

I can't wait to see the looks on the faces of the people around me as I pull out the Skins shotglass and proceed to knock one back for the boys. I went incognito last year, but this year it'll be all Burgundy and Gold. Luckily my buddies HUGE and will have my back. So long as I'm not too obnoxous, which I don't plan to be.
