Have any of you tried to buy something on Redskins.com Store. My wife wanted the breast cancer hat and I tried to get a shirt and a hat also. They wanted to charge 18.00 plus a 2.00 handling fee. Thats unbelievable. 20.00 in shipping for 3 items (2 hats and a shirt). I think that they are charging so much in shipping so that they can get a bigger profit. It doesn't cost that much.
Oh, and that was for the cheapest shipping method.

I know...I got Jake a hat for his birthday and they charged me almost half what the hat cost to ship it.

I just bought a

ey jersey and a coffee mug and had it shipped ground to Illinois, $16.99. I thougt that was pretty steep myself, but I live in Illinois and don't have many options when buying my favorite Redskins gear. I forgot all about how much shipping was when I got my jersey.

There are websites out there where you can get free shipping but she spacifically wanted the Skins Breast Cancer hat.
My wife almost refusses to wear the skins gear. She just says she feels lame. (She's from Los Angeles)
If I can get her to wear any then I am going to get it.

SkinsChic, why didn't you just go to a fan store. I would have thought that they would have been closer to you.

Most of them are in Virginia. The only ones in Maryland are an hour away.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the shipping on redskins.com was ridiculous. I think I tried to order a hat from there a year ago and the shipping was like $15 or something, basically the same price as the hat.
HELLO!!!
I GUARANTEE you this is just lazy computer programming btw not some Dan Snyder money making scheme. Whoever programmed the site couldn't be bothered to calculate shipping in a realistic way and just tossed off some generalized shipping rules.
Oh well. Their loss.

It's not just the Skins. I just bought a part for a microwave from Lowes. Price of the part was $16.00. S & H was $7.00.
