Here's what that clown Don Banks had to write today:
I'm going out on a limb and labeling the Washington Redskins the worst 3-0 team in NFL history. And that's coming off their best game of the season by far.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/w ... ek4/1.html
He is so anti-Redskins that he makes Len Pasquarelli look like George Michael.

What an ugly fella...

Cut him some slack...he also says: "We knew the Moss acquisition was going to turn out to be huge for his new team. We just didn't know it was Santana Moss in Washington we were talking about."
I mean, really...we've won 3 games...all down to the wire...Yes, the statement was unduly harsh...but you can't argue w/his logic...again, he's wrong...but he gets paid to make statements like that.

Its okay. I like the fact that we are not getting the respect of the media. Every year they pick against some team. If we move to 4-0 this week, there will still be some doubters, but winning leaves no doubt.

We can not argue his logic? I agree but only because his statements have no logic.
He is wrong. I also agree. It is his bad faith that bothers the heck out everybody.
He gets paid indeed. But I did not know that a requirement was to be wrong with no logic.
Let him dig his grave deeper and deeper. The Skins will help him cover it up week after week this season.

Here's his logic...we're 3-0 by an average margin of victory of 2 points. Find a team that was 3-0 by an average margin of victory of 1.9 points or lower. That's what he's basing his opinion on...But, I doubt he's watched all of our games...if any, for that matter...so it's an uneducated assessment.
Again...it's a stupid opinion...but, let's not get carried away....we are 3-0....AMEN! But, we still are 7 more victories away from getting any respect...it takes awhile to undo 12 years of utter futility.

I checked this guy's predictions for week 4. He missed on every game but 2 so far. Not having a good day! OR he really knows the only way to get "noticed" is to make stupid statements.
what an idiot!

The panthers get called the cardiac cats when they win tight games but we get called the worst ever...

Give it time...it's easy to doubt on us right now...it took awhile for people to jump on the San Diego train last year, too. Now, this year...they have a 'mystique' to them....go figure.

I'd rather be the "worst" 3-0 team than the "best" 0-3 team...
Banks

What I don't like about him is that he always makes snide comments about the Skins. As much as Peter King and Len Pasquarelli tick me off, Banks has always been nastier in his criticism of the Redskins. He always writes glowing columns about the Ravens, and he lives in Columbia, MD so he should just change the name of his column to "Ravens good, Redskins BAD!"

His sentiments echo that of the jealous ravens fans at my job. However they get really tight lipped when I remind them of how bad their team is.

Haha well put, but still the ball is just bouncing our way
In the long run skill beats out luck 100% of the time. Now that we have a cushion, time for our Skins to improve the O-line, running game and Pass rush. Hopefully we can end up on the plus side of the Turnovers game.
I bet a lot of team could be 4-0 or 3-1 with the type of good fortune we have had. Agree?
So much hate

I notice that the skins are 3-0 but you have people making comments like were 0-3.You had people saying the cowboys are on the run for the playoffs and look at them now, and they have to play philly so there about to be 2-3. But I can say this if we come out of this road trip 1,1 we have to get some respect. Portis has to get in the endzone at least 2 for us too pull out a win. Denver D is overrated, and Kansas City D is inconsitant. Our Offense is about the same as Denver, but Kansas City is too explosive for us not too cause turnovers.

The worst 3-0 team ever, huh ?
Okay. Beat Tuna and the Cowboys, and keep the streak of eight straight games without allowing 100 yards rushing (by a single back), hog the ball like we did Sunday...and I promise you, I'll still be rooting for this team even if we turn out to be the worst 11-5 team of all time.

who cares about the media, I am enjoying the fact when I wear my Redskins jersey's that the Eagles, Ravens, and Cowboys fans can't say jack. The best is when i make fun of my friend that is a Dallas fan and I talk trash to him and he looks like he is going to cry, so I make fun of him some more. Its been a while since we have been able to do this. We have braging rights over other fans now. I have been waiting for a while for this. Just enjoy that, if we keep winning, media respect will come, and if it doesn't who cares about their ultra biased opinion.
