I know it's only the 3rd week, but we are ranked:

12th in total offense in the NFL.
6th in total offense in the NFC.
3rd in total defense in the NFL.
2nd in total defense in the NFC.

We are 3 for 3 on 4th Down conversions. 100%

7th in rushing offense in the NFL.
4th in rushing offense in the NFC.
10th in passing offense in the NFC.
21st in passing offense in the NFL.

I was surprised about our total offense...we look pretty good so far....Our defense is one of the best in the NFl and our offense is on the uprise.....looks like we have a great chance for the playoffs

Wow, that is surprising to me too. With lots of room for improvement! Looks to be a slow year for O's in the NFC... and our D is a big part of that so far!

12th...him that's interesting. I have to ask myself when we will start getting some credit?

Wow, 12th looks pretty good with no rushing TD. I'm very interested to see how Seattle plays us now that the deep threat card has been played.

We win this game and at least one more team drops out of the NFL undefeated ranks and I think credit is coming to DC by even the critical media outlets (except Pastabelly of course).

I'm not sure Seattle will "fear" our deep passing game, but at least they'll know not to doubt Brunell's cannon.

Ás much as I'm excited about the 2-0, and possibly 3-0, start, I won't make much about getting credit from the media THREE games into this young season.

Meanwhile, let's just focus on bowling over the competition.

That won't come until January. If our Offense is 12th (or better) by then, perhaps we could get a little respect.

..............although I doubt it.

I think once the Special Teams starts winning the field position battle, and when the Defense forces a few more turnovers, we will get more Red Zone opportunities and consequently score more points.

We scored 14 points last week without even getting into the redzone, or getting any turnovers. That is pretty good.

But where it really "counts" we are #1 in the NFC!
We 2-0 in the NFC ("tied" with the Bucs!) but we are 1-0 in our division.

Its easy to make these stats mean absolutely nothing. This means about as much as when we used to win all those off season battles!!!

We are the Skins and credit don't come easy for sure but the media outlets certainly made a broo haha out of the 3-0 group last night.

Guess it is better than the coverage the 0-3 groups are getting.
