I didn't see anyone post this yet. Sorry if I missed it. Aki Jones has been called up from practice squad to take his place and LB Nick McNeil has been signed to the practice squad.

Noble is a Hoss and i wish him the best of luck in his rehab! This guy plays his rear off and its sad to see him get hurt again.

Aki Jones showed some flash in the preaseason, hopefully he can do something similar to what Demetric Evans did last year in a reserve role!

I hope Noble recovers well. He has such heart and love seeing him get the crowd into it when he plays at home. Best of luck Noble. I hope this isn't the last we see of him with all his injuries.

damn. he was good in the rotation last year.

he's slated for a cap hit of over 2 mil next year, so it could be over... :(

His heart in definitely in the right place.

His body, on the other hand, is done.

Many have learned to not count him out after a bad injury but I suspect that he will retire this time.

I agree, HS. This is his last season as a Skin.

Yep, I think we've seen the last of Brandon in uniform. Hopefully, he's made some good investments and will open up his own rib joint or something but I think his playing days are over.

We will really miss him in the rotation. Now we truly begin to look thin along the defensive line. We need a quality defensive end, one that can rush the passer. Guys that can get to the QB are coveted, in order to get one we would have to offer up a good player of our own. Does Ramsey have that kind of trade value? IMO Ladell Betts does, but he is too good to part with. I suppose the only comforting part of losing Brandon is that Gregg Williams and Greg Blache are the guys making the decisions.

I know its not his fault...but guys who get injured a lot are not my favorites.

Taylor Jacobs better play the rest of the season. I hope Aki can be the next story, was he the guy that was sleeping on the floor outside during mini camp?

Time to consider the big R. Noble has heart, but that's not enough when you're a DT in the NFL.
