I recently bought a DVD recorder. I recorded the MNF game. I went to finalize the DVD and my dumba** accidentally erased it. I feel like I'm going to throw up.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I wish I had a TiVo, myself. :(

Yeah, this blows bad. The reason I screwed up was because the formatting and finalizing button in the menu screen are beside each other. Instead of looking carefully at it, I just flew through it.

CompUSA has 40-hour TiVo units for free after mail-in rebate. My only problem is the $13/month service fee. I'm seriously considering it though, then I could go back and watch plays instead of commercials. :)

Since we're on the subject, DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE A RECORDING OF THE GAME THEY WOULD WANT TO SHARE WITH A FELLOW SKINS FAN???

I really want this piece of history.

Well, I had it :( . Not only did I have the game, I had the press conferences afterwards, one where Parcells looked shell shocked. If anyone has the game, I would be grateful to purchase a copy.

Sorry I can't help. I couldn't figure it out this morning how to record it. I may have to go buy a DVR but I don't want to. I'm cheap.

Yeah, I watched the last 4 minutes of that game 10 times already. That was priceless.

I got mine with Directv service. If your a new customer I think its free. If your an exsisting customer you get a 100 mail in rebate so your total cost is like $50 and they charge 5.00 per month for the service. They charge you that anyways.

Yeah, DirecTV is $5/month. They are switching to their own DVR (away from TiVo) though, if that matters. Dish Network is also $5/month. My parents have their HDTV DVR. It's pretty sweet.

I get a HD DVR from Comcast for $5 bucks a month.

Is it any good? I've heard horror stories of Cable-company DVRs.

A good site for DVR stuff is http://www.pvrwire.com.

It's a Motorola machine. I've never had any problems with it.

It could just be that people are a little crazy about their TiVos. It's kind of like talking about computers to a Mac user...

Oh man, that sucks. That is the only part of the game that is worth watching. Up until then it was a Dallas festival. The best part about the last 5 minutes, besides the game winning bombs, were the expressions of the Cowboy fans faces after we took the lead. It was priceless.
