Just some thoughts about what we could use.

Hey I loved the way the skins snatched victory from the Jaws of defeat last night. But it was obvious we could use some defensive linemen. Particularly at the d end spots. We didnt pressure bledsoe all night. Our secondary is stellar and our Lbs are all world. Also maybe a couple bigger wideouts for next years draft and we will be vying for a super bowl. Other than that hail to the redskins baby baby.

I'm not worried about the D - I'm worried about being 28th in points per game! Everything else is secondary if you can't score a little more.

We still need a QB to get into the Superbowl. With PRamsey leaving after the season and MBrunell getting older, we're not going to get there any time soon. We need a QB that can actually throw down to Moss like that all the time, not only when you're desperate.
If we get quarterback, not another rookie, we'll have a chance. Campbell is a project and Brunell will run out of juice.

We need to work on the offensive line. Clinton had no running room yesterday. Moss said it best after the game yesterday "If you have guys who can block for him [brunell] he can do anything with the ball." I would say this is true. I thiknk Brunell would be better if he got better blocking. Any QB would. The O-line is the most important thing on any field

How can you block blitzes EVERY down? How can you block when the longest pass you throw is like 10 yards? You can't...they're shooting themselves in the foot by not passing the deeper ball...by that I mean MORE than a screen or a quick curl route. Brunell will get his protection as soon as he is allowed to throw a little deeper on a normal basis and not only at the end of desperate games.
Can't have the opposing defense commited to run all the time. They HAVE to respect our passing game, so far they haven't. And I think they're right that they haven't...because we only had two passes for more than like 20 yards. I don't blame the O-line...I blame the play calling and a little of Brunell's play.

they took shots up the field. i remember one to patten and at least another one to moss earlier in the game. But nobody will respect the deep ball until we connect on a regular basis. LAst nights two bombs will get us some more respect in that category IMO.

Give credit to D. OL and DL. They did compete winning and losing duels with ours play after play.
Our DE's are not the greatest forces in the NFL to reckon with. Their strength lies in playing within the system covering the outside of the line against runs and other lateral plays.
We still need someone like Dexter Manley and Charles Mann on our side.
