They been promoting it as Lavar on "Lavar's first win in Dallas". I'm not so sure he's gonna be happy about his limted role last night. It should be a good interview. I'll try to post a recap, but, if I drop the ball, someone please listen in and get my back.

- Described stadium as loud for 4 qtrs. and how it suddenly disappeared in minutes.
- Redskins ruined the Cowboys' "homecoming" game.
- Lavar's personal celebration of the victory included beating his helmet into the star in the middle of the field, in front of The Tuna

- Thinks Gatorade bath was a bit much, but admits it got "monkey of their back".
- Not an impressive victory, by any stretch, in Lavar's opinion.
- Defensive strategy was to "play rope-a-dope" with the 'Girls. Kept them off balance.
- Thinks they may have stumbled onto something, with re: to the offense, in their most desperate moment.
INJURY-WISE:
- Getting better.
- Says "I don't make decisions on playing time, or "where he fits in the grand scheme of things."
- Wants to be a team player.Wants to help team, but he is at the will of the D coaches.
- Felt that he moved well on the field, when he was called into action.
ON EARLY BYE WEEK:
- Bye week made better by a win.
- Opportunity to think about how to get better.
ON TACKLING:
- Walt Hariss was spectacular.
- Trying to develop pride & sense of accountability.
- Creating a premium to win. Guys have bought into it.
ON SEAN TAYLOR:
- With increased maturity level, he cbecomes evermore dangerous.
- Can change game with one play. Lavar wants the opportunity to play with him.
- Tells ST how proud he is of him.
...
- Marcus Washington brings so much to the table.
- Enjoys the group of guys he's playing with.
- He felt great about helping the Katrina victims along with his wife.

Sounds like he may be in GW's dog house and it's not the injury.

I hear that. This season our entire secondary are exceptional tacklers (heck even our kickers can tackle). Great fundamentals all around and the coverage was exceptional given the fact that we never had any pressure on the QB. The only big play came from a well drawn up play by Dallas, hats-off on that call.
I just think Lavar's being brought along slowly. He has looked disciplined and healthy during his playing time so I don't think he is being punished or that he's hurt. It doesn't hurt to be extra safe especially on turf and in a grudge match where you know he might have tried to overdo things a bit. Remember, he didn't have a full training camp as well. I just think GW wants to make sure he's 100% physically and mentally before he lets him loose out there and Holdman has played well too.

I hope he gets a bigger role soon, I would hate for him to start looking for somewhere else to play.
