I didn't catch much of the show this morning, but on "The Opening Drive" with Dan Reeves and Bob Papa (sp?) on Sirius NFL Radio, Dan Reeves said great things about our defense. He said "it was just really smart defense" and he said that we had the best tackling by the secondary that he has ever seen.
He said our defenders knew where the first down markers were, and consistently made great open-field tackles short of those markers.
Of course, we all knew that arleady, but it's nice to hear first thing in the morning after a victorious MNF game in Dallas!

Gameballs should go to Walt Harris and Marcus Washington.
A Few concerns... The running game was working somewhat but I think we went away from it too early, the game was still close enough for us to run more.
Our defense doesn't seem to be able to pressure the QB withough blitzing. We need more pressure from the front 4. This is the same thing from last year and why did Gregg Williams stop blitzing Bledsoe? The guy is a like a friggin statue, a pure pocket passer theres no way you can allow him to stand back there and pass.
Sean Taylor got burned twice. Once on the flea flicker and there was another play I think in the 3rd quarter, a 35 yard pass which Taylor slammed the guy out of bounds. I think teams will notice his over eagerness to hit and can get him to bite on play action and burn him deep. He needs to work on that.
Overall, great friggen game. As I posted before, Brunell gives us the best chance to win. Veteran leadership and composure is what you need to win in the NFL. Final numbers...
20-34 291 Yards, 2td's 1 int.... not bad at all.

The problem with the running game simply lied in the fact that the Redskins were not stretching the defense with any big completions in the game. The Cowboys were stacking the line throughout the game and that's when the Redskins needed to complete some deep balls. I have faith in Portis. And what a finish...

Just got to be thankful Dallas kept stacking the line during the last quarter. Must have made it easier to decide to go deep
