What in the world are we going to talk about for the next two weeks? The quarterback dilemna has been resolved for now, Joe Gibbs is a genius once again, and the Redskins are undefeated and in first place in the NFC East. It is possible to do nothing but gloat for two weeks?

Well I am not for gloating a win, but I will enjoy it for two weeks.

True words - the team can't rest knowing its biggest victory margin was 2 points! I hope they spend the next two weeks tuning that passing game - it's the key weakness in what could be a playoff team. If the 'skins think they can rest on 2-0, they should remember Spurrier's second season here. They started 2-0, and ended up 5-11! It's a long season, so hopefully the team stays focused!

Boy oh boy.

HAd to record the game as it was on at about 4am here. Then I only got the second half. Mind you it seems I missed nothing in the first half.

I was watching the game getting more and more upset at watching us try and make a whole 3 yards a play. Then having a heap of 3rd and 4's that we couldnt convert.

My wife was watching the game with me and she knows nothing at all about this game. She said "YOUD BETTER A FIND ANOTHER TEAM TO SUPPORT THIS YEAR. THEY'RE RUBBISH".

I was thinking myself we are rubbish. Next thing it 4-15 and Im in a major sulk. Brunnell versus a pass defence and a pass rush that has clobbered him all day. Result touchdown. I was now happy at least we had one for the year.

Next thing against a pass defence we went deep again. We scored again. Deary me throwing the ball down the field resulted in touchdowns. Not only that Brunell throwing the ball DOWN the field was getting us touchdowns.

I think this throwing the ball for scores may just catch on. The coaching staff my realise we are capable of it and try it more often.

Corners playing loose, safties playing deep gives us more options. They will still need to keep the linebackers in and around the line of scrimmage due to Portis and Cooley.

We are going to spread the field. We are going to score. Oh my god I need a lie down and Im getting carried away.

5 minutes of offences does not make your season. However it can set it in the right direction.

Well, here's something to ponder over the next two weeks...

Last night I heard on the JFK post-game show that during his first stint as coach of the Skins, Joe started out 2-0 three different times, in '82, '86, and '91 (forgive me if I'm getting the dates wrong, I hardly got sleep last night.). Twice he won the Super Bowl, and once he lost in the NFC championship game.

Dare I say... history is about to repeat itself???? :-s

Best of all, we are not only 2-0, but we are 1-0 in the division.
